Bioware please make her look a bit more like her VO or at least change her eyes

All I can see from her is Snooki -_-

Maybe you shouldn't watch that white trash TV show IMO in the future so you wouldn't see retarded fat Snooki in every single brunette.

Your brain will be thankful.

What!? Another brunette? Where are my blonde LI's? Pre-Order cancelled. Just playin.

Anyway, when I read the Normandy has a war reporter... I immedietley thought about "Enemy at the Gates" and the propoganda reporting of Sniper Vasily Zaytsev. It'll be nice for moral to have increadible stories of handing it to the reapers floating around the galaxy.... a little embelishment never hurt anyone.

I do wish they would tweak her face but I doubt that will happen. This just seems like a repeat of ME2's Miranda all over again.

Most people won't know who it's supposed to look like anyway.

I really don't understand why bioware keeps trying put real faces into their game. They're not good at it, at least not when it comes to females. Sheploo is good, but Miranda, Diana, that elf chick from the DA2 DLC. They all looked weird. At a certain point they should just cut their losses.

It only seems to happen when they model it after the VAs. Liara does look close to Jillian Murray.

You're right, which makes it weirder. I wonder what it is about modeling the VAs face?

Why do you think I'm still here? I would've left this thread alone a while ago as well if people were serious in their judgement of Jessica Chobot/Diana Allers

I looked at both the picture and the video again..and her face is just weird IMHO. Maybe it's the lighting. In any case, her arms are unnaturally skinny though. Look forward to interacting with her though. Hopefully, there will be some good dialogue for people not interested in romancing her.

I'll combine this with my earlier comment-

A lot of the people in the World today are close-minded and blind.

I’ve never seen a Jersey Shore episode. You don’t have to watch it to know who Snooki is. Why are people getting offended or upset because some people say the one screen of her looks like Snooki? I have to be honest and say when someone first pointed it out, my first thought was “Oh, yeah. She does.” I know Jessica doesn’t look like Snooki irl, but the screenshot wasn’t very flattering, imo. It’s the cheeks and eyes that make me think of the comparison--even Jessica Chobot herself commented on her character having “chubby chipmunk cheeks”.

I have a crazy idea. Wait until the game comes out before casting judgment let alone being cruel and venomous with the comments here at BSN.

I know, I know, I'd have a better chance of convincing the Reapers into giving up galactic genocide and opening a doggy day care but please...

Y'know, I don't really care what she looks like, I just want to know if she can ACT. I don't mind pandering as long as it doesn't result in hiring the wrong person for the job. If she reads her lines well, welcome aboard. If she butchers the role, she's going out the first air-lock I can find.

Well, seeing as in real life Chobot reports on things, I think with some help she could've taken to the role well.

Blahblahblah Snooki!... Blahblahblah Jersey Shore!... Blahblahblah tank top too sexy!

You know what? I don't give a damn.  I like her, I like sexy, I like what I read about her in the leaks, and I will romance her my non-squaddie LI playthroughs.

So yeah here's a "I APPROVE" vote right here!

'nuff said. <_<

At first there was something about Diana's cheeks that seemed.. off...but now I see that in real life Jess does have very pronounced cheeks.

I read an interview somewhere where Jess jokes about her boobs and butt being a bit bigger in the xfer but she (and I) thinks it looks good.

*Neural input overload, Brain is shutting down to dump extraneous data and execute High Order process values".

I'm still a lot confused here.I came to this thread to find out, what (if it was ever stated!) Diana actually does!
Several pages later of Chobot talk, I'm still none the wiser!

I have two theories:
1. She's an Intelligence Agent.
To me, those pictures in the background look like surveillance photos. If this is the case, she goes in before the team, gets intel on the location, maps of the buildings, number of hostiles, weapons in play and so on, then relays that information back to the assault squad to plan the attack.

2. She's the "unanounced" character
www.masseffect.com/me3/game/collectors/
There's something in there about a "additional downloadable mission and character (click on the picture from above link).

About the armor issue, did they ever change the game mechanic from ME2 back to ME1, regarding off duty and on duty?
In ME1, they wore whatever armor you gave them in the field, but on the ship, they wore whatever was considered "casual attire", depending on who they were.
In ME2, with the exception of Shepherd (only!), everyone wore the same thing on the ship as off it.

Personally, I'm hoping Diana is a full squadmate.
Vega isn't really moving me and I'm concerned that Ashley's remake will make her look kindof innappropriate during battle sequences (she used to wear the heaviest armor and now she's wearing light armor???).
So an alternative to use in my squad would be really welcome.

Disclaimer:
I am actually a hardcore Ashley fan, but (from my point of view), what comes back in ME3 isn't what we had in ME1.

What annoys me is that so many gamers think that if an attractive woman is a gamer, she's not really a gamer and is a fake.

Chobot does play games. I think you are thinking of Olivia Munn. Chobot has played Mass Effect 1 and 2 through, which sparked her online campaign to have BioWare give her a part. She talks and shows that she plays games on her twitter frequently.

I'm fine with Vega, but this character really feels out of place to me...
