Jessica Chobot from IGN. IGN not as great as it was before Fox bought them out. But Jess is cute. And her voice will be refreshing to hear in the game. =)

A new reporter character, who is onboard the Normandy?
You know, I'm still waiting for a chance to give Emily Wong (everyone's favourite Investigative-Journalist) that Exclusive Interview I promised, but now it seems I have to postpone it.....again.
Also on a side-note, I had a sudden and strange thought. They (Bioware) did say that we would get some new Love Interests (including Same-Sex Relationships) and that they wouldnt all necessarily be Squadmates. So I wonder, do you guys think this is one of them? Thoughts anyone?

Yes, if she goes out in the field with Shepard and his crew, she definitely should be wearing armor and kinetic barriers. If she stays on the Normandy, she can wear what she wants. Simple concept, isn't it?
