An example of good fashion is Liara. She wears clothes suited to her work or mood. Luckily the PC version allows us to edit the face and clothes of the character. But her voice will still be there so hopefully she nails the voice acting.

Everyone else wheres clothes suited to their work or mood.  Excluding the whole ME2 thing, of course.

Ashley wears form fitting attire and wears a suit of armor in combat.  Diana wears some casual tank/dress thing while on the Normandy.  For all we know, she has armor and kinetic barriers off of the ship, too.  And if she doesn't, oh well.

You can go outside and see everyday women dresses exactly like Miranda/off-duty Ash/Diana, but seeing it in a video game is somehow horrible.

Why is being middlingly attractive and knowing what a video game is a ticket for success now? Anyone who doesn't think this isn't pandering to the lowest common denominator really needs to ask themselves what Chobot brings to this game as far as talent goes. What does she do? She's not an actor, nor is she particularly charismatic or funny. She's in there because...?

I know I know eye candy :P

I am sorry I jinxed this thread to degenerate back into the same comments again.

This thread was bound to be a regurgitation of the same comments anyway. It's the nature of these superfluous complaints.

I just hope that we have the option of not bringing her along, and that her absence does not detract from the best ending. If it does...

Yup. That's the screen.

Wow, that outfit is pretty fugly.

Yes, because tight, form fitting outfits are such an oddity in ME and makes any woman with an athletic and attractive feminine figure "fugly".

Who knew the gaming community was so full of prudes.....or just full of gamers who LOVE to B!TC#

Jess is a attractive woman whom is entertaining and fun in her IGN videos and I eagerly await to see what she has to offer in ME3.

But I guess that doesn't make me "hardcore" enough because I'm not filling this forum with cruel and venomous comments (most of which none of those giving them would EVAH say to her face) before I've even played the game and seen what she has to offer to it.....

I don't think they're talking about the fact that shes fugly because shes wearing a form fitting outfit  - but more the dress itself is pretty fugly.

Hey, future fashion might be different, but by modern standards - she would probably be appearing in the worst dress section of your favourite gossip magazine.

I don't mind it personally - but my fashion is regularly commented on as being the worst taste in fashion since neanderthals first draped a dead animal over their shoulders - while still bleeding.

My only issue with her is that her dress looks like a swim suit. I will accept it only if there is a swimming pool on the Normandy.

LOL!!!

That's being generous.

I for one can't wait to see what Jess/Diana has to offer for ME3!

Am I the only one who thinks her form fitting out fit looks like gymnastic spandex? We know there is a scene where Shepard can box with Vega, maybe there are a few scenes involving physical training (no innuendo intended) and this is something she wears in one scene for like three minutes while working out in the gym type area of the ship? They have said the characters are going to be more dynamic and change outfits and junk, right?

Think that comparison was to show how much her in-game face differs from her real life one, just not sure how Bioware could badly screw that up when they did a decent enough job with Miranda's face, got the teeth down and everything. But attractiveness is defnitely in the eyes of the beholder.

This could be the product of the picture too. It might be a bad view or she could be in the middle of talking, so it would look funny...

I honestly don't mind the outfit. I'm actually hoping that it is a swim suit. Because people normally wear swim suits when they're planning on swimming, and that could be a hint that there's a pool on the Normandy. And I kind of want a pool on the Normandy, no matter how ridiculous it would be.

To be serious, though, the only thing I know about her is that she's a war correspondent. I'm looking forward to seeing what she brings to the table.

Actually, I posted the comparison to show that there isn't much of a difference between the two and that both Jess and Diana are beautiful women.

But as you said, its in the eyes of the beholder.
