She confirms it herself in an interview she gave. She says you can romance her if you’re male or female and you can also choose to bring her on the Normandy, or kick her off.

The interview is floating around somewhere, I would check her official thread in the Romance section. It’s probably there.

While the only LI's that I care about are Tali, Jack, Liara, and Kasumi, I will still be friendly with Diana Allers on my Paragon Shepards. I'ves seen so many Jersey Shore comments on these Diana pages. Once the game comes out.. I can't wait for the modders to come up with a Video of Diana or Vega dancing in some club. (there is always a club in ME). It might actually top the dancing Turian

I don't mind -some- fanservice...but stuff like this is just meaningless...there is no reason to add people like this. You could get some actual acting talent and have ACTUAL characters...not just characters that obviously only exsist because "this is a famous person that plays games."

This is no different from that outrageous Felica Day thing in DA...there was no reason for that eaither...just catering to this because they are "famous" gamer girls.

I'm just preparing everyone for the fist pumping Dancing Turian revolution.   There is so much hate and anger over every little ME3 info that's coming out. Just think of all the laughs we can get everyone, Palaven Shore!

Personally, I would have loved to have Khalisah Al-Jilani as the embedded reporter. Considering the strained relationship she and Shepard have, I think it would have made quite the experience. It would be nice to maybe see her views on Shepard change, to see her respect for him/her grow. Or, to have her there undermining him on every turn. It would have created a better dynamic. Ah, well. Guess she would have looked funny in a skin-tight latex dress, so that was a no-go.

guys it could be worse. they could have used Cameron Diaz, Madonna, Heather Grahm or--and this is the most horrifying to imagine--Jamie Lynn Spears for Diana Allers' voice and appearance. but instead they went with someone who is a fan of the series (Chobot) who isn't an internationally known actress. Many of the great films of all times feature unknown actors and actresses and that becomes their big break. In fact, I can think of a good recent example: did anyone know who Zack Gallifinakis was before The Hangover? no? exactly. it's a similar situation. you know Jessica Chobot the IGN reporter but not Jessica Chobot the voice actress. I for one--as stated before--don't have a problem with her character design (we've seen a few pictures!) and will reserve judgement for March 6th.

And honestly I wouldn't care if BioWare designed a character modeled after Danica McKellar, Michelle Trachtenberg, Jessica Boehrs, or Alyson Hannigan and made her wear nothing but Jack's suspenders. If she was deadly with a gun or biotics and wasn't trying to kill me I'd be like 'whatever' and wouldn't accuse BioWare of fanservice

sadly, i did know zach g before the hangover....his old standup routine is HILARIOUS....it's him drinking beer and 'singing' while sitting at a piano....

many worse people they could have picked, agreed, at least when they nab somebody like her, it's not just a job for her...she seemed pretty invested in the series....probably going to give it a good effort....
