I don't even watch the show but I have seen the "people" on it. Vega and her don't seem like them in the slightest.
Just look at Jonathan in MGS4, that guy was a badass and I expect no different from Vega.

I have seen a picture of Snooki (2 years ago) and I know of her but if she walked into my house I wouldn't recognize her. I don't watch Jersey Shore but I have heard my friends (mostly the females I am friends with) talk about her and I always want to vomit after. I don’t think anyone is saying that Jessica looks like Snooki. Some are saying that the ONE screen looked like Snooki. I saw another comparison picture and she did kind of look like Snooki in it. It wasn’t a personal insult to Jessica Chobot, but more of a “Oh yeah, I can see that.”


In other news: Lol at people getting so defensive because someone they don’t know says a video game character they don’t know looks like another person that they don’t know. Jesus, you’d think Diana Allers was their BFF.

Both have prominent cheekbones and one has a universal negative connotation (Snooki).  That's the reason for the comparison based on an idea that because Vega has a "macho" look (he's a soldier afterall...) and because Diana Allers looks the way she does, automatically both characters are stupid and dumb deriving inspiration from Jersey Shore.

That goes completely against the following:

1.  Chobot's facial structure was probably used to build Diana's facemesh
2.  When meshes are scanned and built off a person's face, they don't appear exactly the same in the virtual world.  Seems to cause an uncanny valley effect when you know exactly how x person looks in real life.
3.  We know Miranda didn't look like her voice actor in pre-release screenshots only to find out the mesh actually was pretty good and accurate.

It's fine to use the Snooki comparison as an off the cuff comparison/joke, but it's another thing all together when we make serious attempts to actually argue:
 
Vega =  Jersey Shore guy in looks/personality
Diana Allers/Chobot =  Snooki in looks/personality

Thus Bioware is obviously taking inspiration from Jersey Shore therefore:

ME3 =  Jersey Shore
ME3 =  A stupid reality TV show I have never seen an episode of since I don't watch Network TV

Especially when we have seen about 30 seconds of Vega where he came off as a serious and loyal soldier and nothing of Diana Allers' character or personality.

It is basically about Chobot working for Bioware and reporting about their game for G4TV at the same time. Can someone say, conflict of interests? No? How about bias?
For me, the fact that she is doing this www.youtube.com/watch , while being on a contract for Bioware at the same time, makes her credibility as a journalist null and void.
What the hell is going on here? Are these people really such amateurs, so that they fail to realize just how bad this looks? I swear to god, this will be their own undoing one day.
