Ah, so you should only speak up if you post a lot and have been here a while. Otherwise, you’re quite allowed to ignore it. I can’t wrap my head around that pseudo logic and I won’t try. You had your own reasons for not standing up in that thread. I have my own reasons for not standing up for blondes or Diana Allers. It’s always nice to think about those things before jumping to conclusions.

Of course I don’t. I don’t watch that show. I don’t know anything about Snooki either besides what she looks like. It’s pretty hypocritical for it to be okay to compare James Vega to Ronnie,(for whatever reason you have) but condemn those who make a comparison between Snooki and Diana Allers(for whatever reason they have).

and i only compared looks, i never said that Vega was any thing like Ronnie from Jersey Shore, i said that if he was anything like Ronnie from Jersey Shore (personality-wise) i would not care for him, also i do think that Allers looks like Snooki, i'm critical of ppl who compare her looks to her personality and immediately hating her even tho they haven't even touched the game, i'm critical of ppl who judge a book solely based on its cover, not the fact that she looks like Snooki

However, that excuse can’t be applied to the other thread. I mean, really. Lol it was only six pages and you posted on every page, sometimes twice. You certainly knew what was happening.

Well, that’s what the majority of people are doing with Diana Allers. Just compared looks and people brought out the pitch forks and torches to defend her. Calling them dumb or blind, etc because they compared the two. Like I have said, I have seen loads of people make the comparison and still state they will give her a chance. That is what I said. I don’t care if she looks like Snooki Gary Busey or Barney, as long as she is a compelling character. I do find her attire ridiculous, but that isn’t a deal breaker. The thing is, some people are so busy trying to defend a video game character who isn’t even real, that they only see that anyone and everyone who makes that comparison hates her character and already cancelled their pre-orders because of it. The whole thing is silly, tbh.

I have been thinking on the fact we can leave her. It was my understanding that BioWare was trying to give decisions more weight and consequences for them. What content are we going to miss if we do choose to leave her? If it is just the opportunity to have a fling with her then she seems rather superfluous; at least to me.

Indeed...but just like that crap with Felica Day in DA...this too boils down to "Look hot chicks play our games!" and add them into it just because their "super big fans" and just happen to be "famous" (if you can call it fame...and their hot...thats the important part) And to get their drooling fanboz to buy the game just because their in it. If anything...Deception...and before that DA2...simply proves Bioware is careing less and less about the crap they shovel at us. Hopefully our crusade of Deception will prove to Bioware we're not gonna take crap like this. We're not the drooling masses that buy the product just because of the name slapped on it. 

Don't mistake this for hatred of Chobat (who I dont even know or care about) or this character in general. I just firmly believe this characters exsistence is TOTALY and COMPLETELY pointless...and much more emotion and story could come from useing a pre-exsisting character.
