The worst for me is complaining about one voice in a game. Raging about that, sounds so dumb. They wouldn't even complain if they didn't know who voiced the character.

I'll with hold judgement until I play the game too.

However I didn't know who voiced the character and I don't visit IGN or other game sites on any regular basis. My initial reaction to seeing the image of this Diana Allers character was that Bioware made a character that looked like Snooki. I don't watch Jersey Shore either, mind you, but hey... I've seen her. So yeah. I think it is invalid of people to say we only thought to complain because of who's voicing her.

Anyway, that's why I'm in this thread. Not to complain, necessarily, but because Google pulled it up when I was trying to figure out what this Snooki in Mass Effect picture was about... and as such, Mission accomplished. Point, innerwebs!

I completely agree with this. Emily Wong should have been the logical choice.

I also don't like the fact the Allers looks like Chobot.....it was bad enough that she voicing a character in ME3, but to have it look like her is a bit extream and off-putting. The fact Allers seems to not be a minor character but one with substance since you can appearently romance her makes it more of an issue. It does ruin the game immersion a bit.

It's not the face or voice that bothers me it's the god awful clothes she's wearing, or at least how her breasts look on the model.

I don't mind Chobot at all, and I'm looking forward to meeting Allers. I guess I'm one of a rare breed that's willing to give new characters a chance before judging them.

 No Beattie for Mordin, but Chobot in her VA debut?  She dating someone at EA?  They spring her out of frigg'n nowhere (I'd never heard anything about either a reporter or Chobot in the game until that vid) in a Voice Cast demo?

She's a romance option in Mass Effect 3, so she isn't just some minor character like past reporters like Emily Wong. This is why I take a bit of an issue with her being in a game....would have like a professional actor or someone we don't know....to keep the game immersion intact

I understand your viewpoint. However I respectfully disagree; I am not going to judger her until I see her in the context of the game.
