so one is a digital character and one is a wanna be italian that pretends to be from New Jersey.

Her appearance, which is only slightly similar, is only one part of her character. You have no idea what her personality will be.

You are just trying way too hard.
Also in my rights to hate a character sir.

Not trying to say you can't hate her. Just encouraging you to reserve judgement.

So basically Chobot is to ME3 what Felicia Day was to Dragon Age 2? Even making the character look like the actual voice "actor"? Just... ugh.

Well can't say the actress and character model is helping so its starting with
Takamori disapproves -5

Maybe they can redeem with a decent background, but still have my doubts looks like just a guest e-celeb put in game to attract more public.

We don't have Mirand-ass any more, so now we have 2tonsmakeupAshley and this woman that I never seen before.

On Dragon Age Origins I found hard to decide between Morrigan and Leliana , both lovely characters.
For Mass Effect series, I had no issue to pass without romances.
Guess I didn't find em appealing or with a decent background/behaviour to seek that part of the game.

I just wish characters would look the part they are meant to play. The new iconic look works for most characters, but that journalist doesn't look like a journalist, and ashley no longer looks like a soldier or an officer.

I've never really been interested in what Chobot does. Not meaning to sound negative, but she's never really done anything I've taken an interest in. Though saying that I think she does seem like an attractive girl, which is why I was shocked to see the state of her in-game model. It just doesn't do her any service whatsoever.

Now that I see people mentioning Felica Day in Dragon Age, I can't help but think this is the same thing. Attractive girl, but in-game model = bleh.

[catching up on the thread]

I didn't realize Ashley's look changed so much in ME3. She kinda looks like a different character. I think I'm glad I went with Kaidan.

The worst thing about Chobot playing Allers is that being the embedded reporter on Normandy is a huge deal and its like they're implying that Jessica Chobot is a real journalist. I want Barbara Walters. Or Anderson Cooper.

Yea it is abit strange to have a freakin Reporter on the ship...I mean sure you can kick her off...but still...

They are called war reporters

Shepard stopped being a moron and decided that maybe he should start recording all their evidence on the reapers

too late but at least he is learning

False.

Shepard's encounter with the Sovereign hologram on Virmire was in fact recorded.

Vega and Allers....too much Jersey Shore influence in ME3. As if James "Meathead" Vega's looks weren't bad enough. All I know is Vega's steroid intake better not cost me minerals, fuel, or anything else in ME3 for that matter. Lol.

Chobot looks good in real life, but I agree, she did not translate well into Diana Allers. I will try to give her a chance. But some of you are correct, the embedded reporter should be Emily Wong.

Also Emily Wong looks a lot better.

I have a question, looking on google I saw a screenshot of a selection wheel with the option to flush away Diana Allers into space... It's this true?

Funny.... James Vega in no way shape or form reminds me of Jersey Shore.... granted I have family members that are personal trainers and I know people from all walks of life so whenever I see a muscle bound person I dont automatically think of jersey shore since i've known quite a few since I was young.

*shrug* As for the Allers/Snooki thing, I guess I can KIND OF see a resemblance but I'm not a huge JS fan at all so those comparisons rarely come up for me.

Maybe she uses her sex appeal to get a story? I dunno...

that an FPJ actaully gives Vega a very good personality

He holds his own in a snark contest with Garrus

Her character and voice acting are... acceptable. Nothing I'd toss her out of the airlock for, at least.

Khalisah Al-Jilani, on the other hand, is long overdue for being sucked out into a vacuum and dying a most horrible death. Punching her in the head twice and getting her ass kicked by a Krogan and a Volus just don't cut it.

Character discussion should be taken to the Characters and Romance forum. Thank you.

End of line.
