I hope that tanktop is Alliance women's standard issue in the game. OU YEAH.

Oh and would it hurt to make a blonde character?

Maybe she's a new Kelly.

Which I welcome. Much more eye appealing.

I don't find her super attractive myself, I do know that looks aside, I found her to be incredibly annoying in IGN features.

Much like Olivia Munn, she's only gamer when there's a camera pointed at her or when she needs a job.

Bioware please make her look a bit more like her VO or at least change her eyes

All I can see from her is Snooki -_-

lol the term "fan service" cracks me up.  Bioware either gets accused of either not listening to fans or they get accused of "fan service".

Now if I can only get her to record a video of the Reaper threat and show it to the........never mind. My claim was dismissed for 2 years.

That's your problem, isn't it? I don't watch that Jersey Shore crap so I don't know how you can even compare the two.

I actually do like red heads, but Kelly got annoying quickly.

"Nothing right now Commander!"
"Anything for you Commander!"
"New message at your private terminal."

Ugh, leave me alone! And if you don't choose to romance her she has nothing new to say, so she's as boring as Kaidan.

I myself have no problem when a character is sexual, it can add to the character if done right. However, if a game constantly exploits this characteristic to the point where it's the only one - for example, with obvious camera work - then the character comes across as dull and nothing more than fanservice. Liara can be viewed as a sexualized character, even male characters like Kaiden, but for them its a simple trait that doesn't get exploited.

Feel the same way. I don't see any problems with how Jack or Miranda look in ME2, for instance (both in dress and body proportions... and it fits their misfit, non-professional soldier characters to not be encased in armor. They DO have mass effect shields, too, and that seems more defensively important. It's actually always annoyed me how Liara in ME1 had to wear armor on missions. I always thought it made much more sense for her to continue wearing her aboard-the-Normandy outfit). I DO think focusing on Miranda's ass in certain convo shots were totally ridiculous and unjustifiable, especially if you're not playing a straight male. I've also never been sold on the idea that female armor needs to have dedicated breast molds, but oh well.

Anyway, as a misandrist femin@zi, I think new Ash looks fine. Diana's proportions look fine. But Diana's dress-thing looks weird and kinda ugly. At first I thought she was an Alliance soldier wearing an off-duty tank top, which made much more sense as something to wear. In the end though, I'm going to have to be a nut here and just wait til I actually try the product before I truly judge.

Let me explain. Fan service is a cheap attempt for attention or fans. Its also known as jumping the shark. Or a gimmick.

Like I said, whether or not her character is a gimmick, I will withhold judgement til playing. But from what I've seen, and what I know of Chobot, it sure seems like a gimmick.

So I just googled who this Snooki is.

lol - there is some similarity. But i think thats more the dynamic shadows on Chobots digital face than anything.

Kellys romance wasn't there for dialogue ya' know....She was there to help Shep with stress relief.

You are pathetic

quick, Bioware introduced a new character who is seen wearing a tank top in one scene!  What implications does this have for Bioware's estimation of your sex life? Ready... set... go!

stay classy bsn.

LP it's not that I don't find the real Chobot cute and sexy, but the facial translation into ME3 is failure of epic proportions. They did a ten times better job in ME2 doing that for Yvonne for Miranda. They should have done the same thing they did for Yvonne for Chobot. Cause seriously her face looks all kinds of messed up.

Yeah? I thought they did just as bad with Yvonnes face as they did with Jessicas.

But Its not the face itself or the textures, its the lighting and shadowing. In ME2 if you disabled or tweaked aspects of the lighting Mirandas face is bang on to Yvonnes.

I always thought of Kelly as a way out for those that wanted to stay loyal to their ME 1 LI's.  She was more of a flirt than a real romance.

Huh, I feel the exact opposite: I think Jessica's translation actually worked better than Yvonne's. Maybe it's just me

I don't know anything about Chobot (well until this thread), but isn't the PSP licking more the fault of people making a bigger deal out of it? I mean, Jesus, if every goofy thing I did was caught on camera and turned into a meme or something, it would hardly be my fault. Is licking a PSP at some point in yourlife really a big deal? Sounds more like a hang-up of shallow geeks.

edit: Also if a guy did it, would it be the same big deal it apparently is?

Seeing Chobot in-game, I'm expecting her to periodically give me updates on how to cheat in ME3, as well as random MP tips when my Shepard stand next to her for a few seconds, not to mention how I can earn those achievements.

women have no chance, I always said that. They must fight on two fronts. Two kind of extremism. Those who reduce their importance, and those who make prejudices and judgments unhealthy, dictate the rules about what to appear to be satisfactory in the eyes of the male who knows everything.
