I'm wondering are there any good games this year that be worth getting?

Beside MASS EFFECT 3, Future Soldier, Halo 4, The Last Of US, Racoon City, KoA than I'm unsure.

Isn't the new Syndicate coming out this year? I'm looking forward to that!

EDIT: And MechWarrior Online is planned for this year too!

I think a demo of that new Syndicate came out today on Xbox Live and PSN, Stanley. Not sure if its available on PC.

So far I'm just keeping an eye on Mass Effect 3, Halo 4, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil 6 and The Witcher 2 for xbox. I'll struggle to afford that lot so trying to avoid seeing anything else that I want.

I'm looking forward to Binary Domain, it looks like the spiritual successor to vanquish, another underrated TPS that was out last year.

I don't know if it's coming out this year, but I've got my eye on The Witness. It's a puzzle/adventurish or something along those lines game.

Without a doubt, my #1 game of 2012 will be Bioshock Infinite. If you haven't played the original, do it. I am NOT a fan of traditional shooters and was skeptical of it until I actually got my hands on it. Thereafter, I was blown away by the story and imagery (you know, stuff that ME3 will be good at too).

Tribes: Ascend is what I'm looking forward to on PC. I loved Tribes and Tribes 2. It is a F2P game with micro transactions think of how TF2 is now.

This is going to be the worst year in gaming for me ever. There's Mass Effect 3, of course. And there's Hitman. Aaaaaaaand that's it.

I'm passingly interested in Syndicate, though it looks to be all violence and no story. The X-Com (with hyphen) is a potential candidate. That might be good, but I can't wrap my head around the absence of action points. I'm thinking about getting Kingdom of Amalur... but silent protagonist and clickclickclick conversations make for pure fail. I can't get excited for it.

This looks to be the worst year in gaming of my life.

Its slated to come out at the end of the year. Its a cyberpunk game set in "neo-paris." its supposed to be action-adventure in 3rd person. I'm very excited for this one.

Dishonored is probably the new IP I'm more excited for. Art designer of half life 2 and lead designer on deus ex 1? SOLD

You know I thought the tallboy's looked a little bit like the striders from half life. Didn't know they had the same art designer.

For someone who abhors the medieval setting, I'm looking forward to it. That shows how much I expect from this game when its released. As for dishonored, I have to see more of it before I agree one way or another. I am however glad to seem more developers getting interested in the idea of varrying consequences and outcomes from the decisions from the gameplay.

I love medieval settings, but that's not my problem with the witcher. My problem is that I can't work up the motivation to finish the witcher(1). I try from the start, get interested in the setting... Then awkward translations, stiff animations and conversations, wierd story transition, and THAT GODDAM SWAMP all keep me from finishing the game.

Seriously I get to that swamp every time, and I just can't work up the motivation to get past it, and when I finally did I forgot what the story was about and lost motivation to play.

I'm sure the witcher 2 will improve and fix all that, but I don't want to play the sequel without finishing the first one, which I don't think I can do.

Lol. I saw grimrock and the first thing that comes to my mind is a giant robotic t-rex (grimlock), which in turn made me remember another upcoming game....

GTA V. No info has been released other than the trailer, but the rabid fanbase has figured out a few interesting tidbits from the trailer. I can't wait!
