Prey 2 looks interesting. Can anyone tell me what the franchise is mostly about? I read some synopsis online and I still ended up scratching my head. So it's a action-adventure with Portal-like puzzles? Idk... O_o

Prey 1 had wall walking and portals. Prey 2 does not. Prey 2 focuses on parkour kinda sorta

From what I have read your abducted by aliens or something like that like Prey 1 but this time your a bounty hunter in an open world scifi game. OPEN world and SCIFI I love everything I've seen on the game and I will definitely get it on launch. I also read that Bethesda is giving them help on the open world design which should obviously help a lot

So it IS open world and not just hubs? I am going to have to switch my Operation:racoon city preorder to that. O it is open world with side missions

Not many sequels coming out this year...should be a really good year, considering how much of a let down last years was.

Syndicate (2012) The more I see of it the more curious I get.  A lot of people have said it is more than a simple FPS game requiring actual teamwork and using skills to support other players.   Feels like a fresh take on the genre.  Though I will admit I won't seriously look into getting it until after Mass Effect 3.


Max Payne 3 is also on my radar providing they can keep the same atmospheric style of the first 2.

No real RPG's seem to be coming out later in the year so far (PC), have to wait for future anouncements.

Two of the games I mentioned (Dead State & *South Park) are old-school styled RPGs and both are coming to the PC.

*I thought the idea of a South Park RPG was silly, but Obsidian's making it, the South Park writers are quite involved and the gameplay actually sounds really good.

EDIT: And now at the suggestion of this thread I'm keeping an eye out for Prey 2 and Risen 2.

No no, Valve needs to be shouted at. After leaving on a cliff hanger and then saying "Any news is just the community trolling itself" they really need to release some info. I'm thinking they are waiting on the next gen of consoles (I know it's valve but maybe) or waiting on a new engine to be finished. I wouldn't mind Half life 3 on source again though. Though I would like to see it on a new purty engine with bells an whistles. I need a new pc first though. 

We are trying to tap Valve's attention on Half Life/Episode 3, a good chunk of steam gamers will only play Half Life 2 this Saturday and try to top HL2 on most played list.

Sounds like a great idea.  I regret that my old beast of a PC is not powerful enough.  Have fun though and maybe Valve will take note.  Good Luck!

Resident Evil 6 is a lock for me. I'll be preordering it the day I go to pick up ME3.

I've also got my eye on Max Payne 3 and Hitman: Absolution, but the jury's still out on them until the reviews start rolling in.

I'm waiting on the inevatable gold edition of RE6.

Yeah, it looks to be something like Sid Meier's Pirates!. I wonder why they didn't have Dragon's Dogma in the listing, though.

Anyhow, Guild Wars 2 is totally worth keeping an eye on. Not only is it looking out to be a kick ass MMO, it will also be suck-out-your-money free. Oh and a note on the official videos: You need to have an account to view them. Just search for another version of the vids, you'll find them. You could also watch them on the official site but they load slow as hell. Press Beta is on so expect a bundle of info this month.

Diablo 3...meh....I guess it would be awesome too if it ever got published.

SC2 Heart of the Swarm...yeah, I jumped off that boat, what? A year ago? Blizzard really knows how to make long development times a form of art.
