I have some questions.
1. Someone mentioned that other than Female - Elf had a bug with this armor. What race / gender / class combos have the bug?
2. What is the bug?
3. If it is purely cosmetic what does it look like bugged? (pic please)

I don't know if this is already mentioned, but not only the blood dragon armor is bugged... human female get hunchbacks when wearing any light armor, i don't know if it applies to elf and dwarf as well but i suspect it's a design error in the armor itself, not the character model.

I didnt have any hunchbacks on any of my female party members or any of my female characters with light armor.

Can you guys just fit this into the next patch? The updater isn't working for me either. Thanks.

Seconded. I'm afraid to touch my DLC files and have my armor dissapear from my inventory too or have a problem with the game recognizing it.

Does this update get downloaded through the in-game downloader, or does it require manual installation?

I've tried to manually install the files from the download since the updater keeps crashing for me. I've reinstalled DA:O and the updater is still failing. When I drop in the new files manually the Blood Dragon armor vanishes on my characters, luckily I kept the old file to replace it with. Please just toss this fix in the next update, we'd all appreciate it.

I have an answer to my own question for anyone who is interested.

1) It did not appear for download in the in-game DLC menu.
2) When I logged out, and then re-logged in, it did appear in the in-game download tab, but with the release date of the original 1.0 version.
3) When I closed and restarted the game, and checked my installed DLC, it had shifted position in the list, and now showed the release date of this updated version.

Once I have an appropriate character, I guess I will see how if it worked.  Image IPB

Maybe both files need to be installed. v1.0 first and v1.1 only beeing an update. You guys got it working with only v1.1?

If you do not have Blood Dragon armor on your PC and you download it via the in-game Downloadable content menu you will get the updated version. If you had the old version installed, the game will not automatically try to patch it for you. You'll need to manually install it from the download link in the first post of this thread. We are looking into a system of automatically uploading DLC content, but are unable to do so at this time.

Downloaded the new version, manually installed it, and is working properly now with my sexy elf.

Interesting, i was just now able to download version 1.1 via my Downloadable Content menu in-game, which replaced the version 1.0 i already had installed. The DLC interface does not say what version it is, but my AddIns.xml file clearly shows 1.1 in the tag now, and it's at the bottom of the file instead of the middle like before (indicating it was updated).

Version 1.1 appeared in the "Download Progress" menu awaiting my command to proceed. As i said, there is no indication that it's a different version within the UI, however.

I had the armor stashed in the Keep's chest, and it's still there after reloading, so i'm going to count this a tentative success. I do not have a character with enough strength to wear it yet, anyway.

Check the release date under installed DLC, v1.0 shows Nov 3, v1.1 Nov 18. In red IIRC.

I can't even use the patch. I open it through the updater, and it'll pretend to update quickly and then stop with like 1% to go and not finish at all.

Riku, what does the "log" tab say? Does the update appear in your DLC menu in-game as i described?

As for the date, i can't check from work, but maybe it did say nov 18th instead, although i could swear i saw 3rd. I know the date wasn't in red, though the required game version (1.0) was. Go figure.

This "fix" breaks the armor for any newly created characters. Instead of the original +3 strength, +3 willpower, +3 armor, +50 health, and -10%fatigue, it now has +6 defense and +30 health.

I tried redownloading the dlc in game but it still resulted in console stats for the armor.

Yep, I noticed that too. I'ts definitely only affecting new characters, as I have two female elf saves, one made before the update and one after.
