So as I was going through another ME2 playthrough I've been wondering.. is there ANY point to leaving Grunt in his tank at all? Other than.. maybe saving you time.
There's no option to sell him to Cerberus like with Legion, so leaving him in that tank of his just seems like a waste to me. I don't hate the guy, but I'm far from his biggest fan. So if I could sell him, I probably would. So far I've always got him out of his tank, just because.. well why not?
That's basically my question.
Is there any reason not to release him at all? Are there any consequences to him being there/not being there in ME3 as far as we know?
Grunt and his tank (Possible spoilers, maybe? yes? no?)

Well, if you release him you'll have a discount on tuchanka and a shotgun upgrade after doing his LM.

There is one advantage but it is a spoiler.

Anyway you could elaborate on it without giving it completely away?

If you have him alive in ME3 then he may become a problem in a certain mission.

Ah, I see. Think I get the gest of it.
Essentially keeping him in the tank would really just 'take away' a problem right? Not really create any story moments, but more.. remove them if you get what I mean?
