I'm not a fan of Twilight but I'm sick of all the hate Twilight receives. If you don't like something, so what? Do you really need to make people feel bad? It's fine to not like things but you should never be a dick about it.

You're suggesting that because people express their dislike of a film (in this case Twilight) that they are "making people feel bad" about liking it? We're offending people by expressing our dislike, right? In that case then, I shall be deeply offended that people like the film. Pssssh. I mean... what on earth kind of nonsense is this?
I could see your point entirely if anyone had said "People who watch Twilight are emo losers/sad/should be shot" but I don't think that happened here. I see this across the board on so many things, too. If someone doesn't like what you like that instantly means they're knocking you personally for liking it. Guess what? It's not always personal.
And frankly, I could be just as sick of all the love Twilight receives. Or anything for that matter - because I get a lot of love for stuff rammed down my throat on a daily basis. You don't see me complaining, though, because I've got bigger things to worry about. A difference in opinion over a film/game/artist is not important.

Oh yes, The Room is a masterpiece!
As for movies that I enjoy on the grounds other than how teriffically bad they are, there's the Matrix sequels, Star Wars prequels, Smokin' Aces (I love this movie), both Crank movies, and the US remake of Godzilla.

What's wrong with that? I like Twilight too!
I wouldn't call it "bad" though, I'm fully aware it's not even close to being on par with what I think are great movies like; LOTR, Dances With Wolves, The Mission, Shawshank Redemption, Brokeback Mountain, The Last Samurai, etc...I still love it though, and I'm not ashamed of loving something other people are repulsed by, but you know what, opinions on movies, games, book's, anything really is very subjective, no one can say for sure if something is 'great' or 'bad' because people's perspectives and tastes are different.

Yeah I never said "I'm sick of all the hate Twilight receives here in this forum" I just said in general.
I have some friends who secretly like Twilight and hate to admit that they like it. It just bothers me when I see someone be a shamed for liking stuff. That's all.

DuckSoup and I are barely two hours removed from having watched The Room...
I have never been so entertained in my life as I was by this absolute atrocity. I have breast cancer. It was just incredible to see a film get every basic component so low on the quality scale that it inversed and stopped at perfection.
