Turian sentinel and a Krogan soldier to start. maybe a Drell Vanguard and Salarian Infiltrator eventually. But since we are forced to start with humans I'll be a human soldier first

A Human Adept or Sentinel first. If it turns out that the Xenos races are better at their classes, I might switch to a Krogan Sentinel.

This is tough, my favorite race are the Asari, but my favorite class is the Infiltrator. ;/ Guess I'll inevitably have to make two characters at the very least:

Asari Adept and either a Turian or Quarian Infiltrator.

I usually don't get into multiplayer but I do give ME3's a try I probably make 6 characters for each class so I can player any of them depending on my mood.

Combanations

Asari- adept (most powerful biotics in the galaxy)
Salarian - infiltrator (STG ftw)
Turian- sentinel (Never seen a turian biotic in the games)
Drell- vanguard (want to make an anti Thane)
Krogan- soldier (ultimate brute force character)
Quarian- engineer (galactic tech guys)

I'll definitely be playing as a human engineer. If they have incinerate, overload and drone, then I'll be sticking with it for a while. I really wish I could get a sentry turret along with the drone, then it would be perfect.
I'll try them all eventually but none of the other classes really fit my play-style by the looks of it, unless there is a tech-heavy infiltrator.

so far the poll is predictable:
Turians - snipers
Asasi - mages
Krogan - melee

I'd love to play something like a Krogan Infiltrator. What's more dangerous than an invisible krogan?

But really, I'd have to see the options before I could choose. I'm worried that they will make too few combinations because of things like "Asari have to have biotics" and whatever. It'd be better to have each character custom, and you choose x amount of skills and have one racial skill (maybe all the Asari get warp for free or something).

I'm hoping there are special character for multiplayer, like Thane, Kasumi or Samara.

Why should I? Besides, the topic is which race/class will you play, and that's who and what I'd be playing if I could. I have no real interest in playing as the other races.

I've supported a Batarian squadmate and a rogue Reaper helping Shepard for a while now.  It is not a bad idea.

Soldiers: Humans(M/F), Krogan(M only), and Turians(M only)

Adepts: Humans(M/F), Asari, and Drell(M only)

Sentinels: Humans(M/F), Krogan(M only), and Turians(M only)

Vanguards: Humans(M/F), Drell(M only), and Asari

Engineers: Humans(M/F), Quarians(F only), and Salarians(M only)

Infiltrators: Humans(M/F), Salarians(M only), and Quarians(F only)
