ok for starters op quit using dao2 as an excuse. secondly. if you dont know who chobot is you might want to research her before you jump the gun like you are. its not that hard to click google and copy and paste the name.

i swear i really do feel like im on a board with a bunch of kids sometimes

I don't know who she is. I'll reserve judgment till I, you know, play the game.

Crazy talk.

She's some IGN presenter whose claim to fame is licking a PSP

EDIT: Overhyped post-DA2 insecurities latching onto stuff so trivial in the game is a good sign, period.

There are like three+ threads which are exactly like this one. Can we please STOP making them. These threads server no purpose but to flame and troll others. This character now has a thread completely dedicated to her. If you must post about her there and stop making retarded threads like these.

I have to say I'm not happy about her inclusion in the game, I didn't even know who was because I don't pay attention to IGN videos but from a google image search apparently all she's famous for is taking pictures of herself licking a PSP. (pics: http://woodytondorf....t-licks-psp.jpg) It's hard enough for women in the gaming industry to be taken seriously without bimbos like her perpetuating the image that girl gamers are all posers trying to get attention from teenage boys on the internet. The fact that she gets a place in one of the most famous RPG series over other talented voice actors is pretty damn insulting.

She's been around a while and done a number of things, most recently on G4 (and the PSP photo was taken years ago).  I don't know how she got cast in ME3 but I suspect it's like a lot of things in show-business - she does the job and people like her enough to want to work with her.

Simple as that.

She's gone the way of Jillian Murray and Yvonne S.: Hot in real life, not so hot as a v.g. character.

I have avoided these forums since the release of Dragon Age 2. I said it would suck. People said it wouldn't. But it did, I was right after all.

Your opinion. DA2 was my favorite. DAO was a close second.

I'm surprised you posted this and haven't been torn apart yet.

I've never even heard of Jessica Chobot prior to seeing that ME3 Voice Casting video, so I'll wait till I play the game before passing judgment. I find it rather odd that the Alliance would embed a reporter in Shepard's crew, since it's not like Shepard can afford the luxury of broadcasting what he/she's doing to the general public. Sure, it may help boost morale and inspire a spirited defense, but you can bet the Reapers will also be listening in to the transmissions, and you can't afford to give the enemy any HINT of what you're up to in wartime. Diana is probably just going to be dead weight on the Normandy, unless she has other skills to bring to the table.

An embedded reporter doesn't have to send reports during the conflict; she could just as easily be documenting the mission for 'history'.
