I'm trying to make a good damager mage, with which I can complete origins and awakening on nightmare, solo
but I don't really know which spells to choose or which outfit
My character is level 6 or maybe 7 at the moment, and has got full lightning, up to virulent walking bomb and some frost spells.

The obvious answer is to pick Arcane Warrior. Take a look here:



Arcane Warriors have a kinda bad reputation because they make they game a total cakewalk. Easily the most overpowered build. Also, it doesn't feel very mage-y.

Otherwise, the Crushing Prison line is very good. And maybe the Mana Clash one too just to take out those mages in a flash.

I've already completed a playthrough using an AW, I know that they are epic but that was not what I was asking.
I know that those spells are nice, but I kindof do need more spells than that.
