Congratulations to the winners!
I'm desperate to read them all now.
Thanks to the Writer's Pit for reading through every single entry and putting in so much time. Also thanks for letting me see my name there in the top 20, that's really made my day, it means a lot. I can't stop grinning, this was such a great competition, I hope there are more like this!

Congrats to the winners and those that placed!

Even though I didn't win, this was a fantastic experience. Thank you for the fun, BioWare! And a big thanks to Chris, Jessica, David and the Writers Pit for being awesome!

Congrats to everyone who placed!

Despite the fact that I didn't place, I can safely say it was a ton of fun to participate. In addition, I learned a few pieces of advice, both from my own analysis of my work and from David's companion piece. In the end, isn't that something priceless and valuable unto itself?

Congratulations winners!! And thank you to Bioware for giving us this opportunity. Having read through only a small fraction of the total entries, I can appreciate how much effort went into this contest both from the writers and the judges.

Awesome!

Hey, top twenty isn't too bad at all!

If anybody is interested in reading Architect, you can do so here.

Oh, just as a note, I'll be posting up my own entry on my WritersCafe page later today. After reading David's companion piece, it made me realize how many things I made mistakes on. Oh well, that is what things like this are all about, learning and growing in skill.

I made the top 5!

<--- is very, very happy.

I feel shy linking to it now, in case you lot don't like it.

*takes a deep breath*  Here goes...

EDITED:  After 24 hours of 'story cannot be found', FF have finally got their act together.  Apologies to anyone who tried and failed to follow the link.  It should be fine now.  *crosses fingers*

Congratulations to the winners and congrats to Bethadots, Scary Lady and Firky! I'm glad you made it into top twenty! :wizard:

You are a few of the people I had a lot of contact with in the other thread, that's why I'm naming you.

And congratulation to Kilyra for “Last Strands of Childhood”. The title alone makes me wanna read it. Pummel DG with questions!

On another note, thank you for acknowledging my work and bringing me into the top 5. I feel very honored.

Oh! I was so busy dancing with glee I forgot to say:

Gratz to all who made it into the top 20 and BIG GRATZ to the winner! I'm looking forward to reading both that one and the rest of the top listed stories if anyone has links?

I've found a few links to top 20 stories in SoLD's thread but I haven't seen the winning story. (There's a link to mine in my sig [/shameless plug] )

Big congrats to all the winners! I hope more people, top 20 and the rest of us, post their stories now. I've had so much fun seeing all the different ways people approached this challenge.

I'll admit to a sad little "awww" moment when I saw I hadn't placed, but I took the chance to reread my story and dangit, I still like it. Considering how rare it is that I like my own work, I'm taking this as a win for me.

Aye, feedback makes us better - I wonder if we can get copies of the readers' notes for our stories somehow.

Congrats everyone who placed, and congrats to everyone who entered. Just think, if you start feeling bad about not placing, you had an actual, genuine BioWare writer read your story! I think that alone is a prize! :)

Congratulations to the winners, the honorable mentions, and everyone that entered.
Thanks to the writers for checking them all and to Mr Gaider for the companion bit =)

I'm already looking forward to the next competition!

Big congrats to everyone who made it onto the list! After reading a couple of those entries I have to say that they completely deserve it, and their obvious love for the Dragon Age series is good to see.

Not surprised mine isn't on the list - not at all. It was my first contest and I just entered in a rush of excitement and giddiness, so... let's just say, I have done far better. If there is another contest, I will definitely give it my absolute best.

So well done to everyone, and here's to hoping for more of this in the future :D

Ouch, didn't even place in the top twenty. My dreams are dashed, time to erase my hard drive.

For those of you who are feeling bad, I just want to tell you that THERE ARE NO WINNERS IN WRITING. Just the fact that you get to sit down to translate your ideas into words is an amazing feat already. Not everyone in this world is capable of doing this!!!

And yes, I won't lie. I'm disappointed that I didn't even place in the top 20 but I will console myself by spending extra time writing today. Why? Because I love doing it and nothing will ever change that!! <3

Big congratulations to everyone who made the list, btw. And maybe Kilyra will let us suggest some questions to ask the big cheese when she claims her prize? Pretty please? At the very least, I hope we get to hear/read the conversation after it happens. I know I'd be so over the moon happy if I got to do that!!! :D

Yeah it was really nice to see some familiar names from that thread on the list, I cheered extra hard for everyone I recognized. We still need to have a little writing corner or group or thread or something!
