I dont understand why people dont buy gold in the first place. Its bascially the main selling point for the 360. If your and adult with a job, you can afford the meager price. If your a kid, then you just get it for christmas or your birthday. You really dont have an excuse for not getting it and frankly, your just missing out. This is not a rant, but a reality. Id rather pay 50 dollars a year for Xbox Live than 14.99 a month for World of Warcraft, which im sure alot of people here have.

I've had a 360 for five years and I've always hated the fact Gold costs money when the only benefit it has over Silver is using my internet connection.

Both Amazon and Gamestop are selling a 12-Month Subscription for $40. I'm not sure if it's temporary or the new price.
