People always whine when it comes to XBL & MS Points. I don't know the reason. They're not even expensive.
Perhaps because their competitors (PC/PS3) don't charge for theirs at all?...
First you can't compare PC to console gaming. Diffrent set of rules/standards etc.. although I didn't know that SWTOR subscription is suddenly free, not to mention WOW; so don't even try to be funny and say everything is free on PC.
PSN & PS3 ..
And we all saw what quality of service PS3 network is !! /LOL & /ROFLMAO
I won't even mention security and weekly system updates.
You pay nothing, you get nothing so when sh*t hits the fan all you can is to sit and cry.
Online service is just like a console -- A miles away down the shi*ter compared to MS XBL service quality - It's a JOKE.
Have a nice day.

It is what it is. And that's on a game-by-game basis. On PC, TF2 (to my knowledge) never charged for their multiplayer... neither did Left4Dead... neither do the majority of non-MMOG multiplayer titles on the PC.

Not buying it, Steam updates itself all the time (one of the most secure gaming hubs on the PC) and charges nothing. New streaming services like Onlive also charge nothing. PS3 may not have the greatest online hub, but you can still play all of its games online free. Like I said, it is what it is. But by all means, have a nice day.

I don't see a problem in Origin & for that matter neither in XBL, Steam or any other service you need to play/run/pay to enjoy a game experience.
Actually I don't even notice it.

Eh only way it's a spoiler is if you've basically haven't read any articles about ME3, looked at the leaked script or the leaked demo.
And pretty much anyone on BSN has done 1 of the 3. If you've done none, then power to ya buddy.

I've mentioned Origin only not to get attacked by anti-origin movement on this Forum. I don't see any difference between Origin and Steam, but let's keep this out of this topic or anti-origin movement strikes back

You can't compare TF2 // Left4Dead games/community to HALO, GOW1/2/3, Call Of Duty franchize.
For Onlive all I can say is go ahead. Enjoy in your streaming but only if you live in few USA states so final result is /LOL/ & /LMAO/ ..
I like to buy physical disc and limited/collectors edition of game; you know to actually OWN something, look at something and smell something. Yes I'm game manual/items fetishist so just drop it right now.

Works for me. As I said I'm not part/member of any movement.
If I want to play something & I need to pay for it then I'll do just that without summoning philosophical table for discussion is this correct, justly or not.
I just don't bother with these services. I'm finaly consumer & really don't care.
I have a life.

Take for example... Mass Effect 3

I prefer lagless discs too, but the point stands more with them because Onlive does EVERYTHING on their end... and still doesn't charge you for it. Point = proven.
P.S. I do live in the States.

To my knowledge that's the arrangement, the only difference is that Silver players will be able to play MP for a while... which is (needless to say) very awesome.

This. It's nice to see Bioware and Microsoft were able to make a compromise. Makes it better for us.
After leaking the entire script it is the *least* Microsoft can do.

People say Bioware and EA are desperate about it, that they don't want multiplayer anyway and they don't approve having to pay xbox live gold later to have it on the full game lol.

Especially for me, because I'll have gold until the 17th, so I can download at the time for a Gold member, but then I'll have more gold to play MP with when it releases. Also, hoping for early access from whatever they announce on the 7th.Mr. Gogeta34 wrote...
