People seem to be making a big thing out of this nosebleed business. Maybe there's a different explanation. Maybe Shepard slipped on a puddle of ooling fluid or something before the scrap and cracked his aluminium nose on the ground, then insisted on going at it with Vega because he's all macho and hips-forward.
Or maybe one of the dialogue options has Shepard taunt Vega before the fight and offer the big lug a free crack at his face. Y'know, a "C'mon, show me what ya got!!!" moment. Vega obliges by giving Shepard the business.

Did people forget that MS1 Shep (with no lazarus project upgrades) knockdown Saren who was at that time more enhance then MS2 Shep

Yeah it appears as though Shepard is trying to push Vega during that sequence just to see how he responds.

I think it' ll be pretty interesting since, its the first time Shepard does some activity with his/hers squadmates. Btw how can Kai Leng best Shepard, I haven't read the novels but I know Anderson almost killed him. Can someone fill me in?

I can't fill you in, specifically, but from what I hear, Leng has indulged in feats of such badassery that it's almost not funny. Stuff like killing half a dozen armed turian soldiers with nothing but his shorts and a knife.
Sort of like a mad bastard version of Batman in Mass Effect, from what I hear.

I' ve already read it all. Thats why I won't buy it. But I don't want to write off topic, so I'll just read the books. Still, thank you.

FemShep would probably win if they went all-in. Vega is hella buff and has Alliance bio-enhancements to boot, but Shep is pure badass and has the strenght to use an anti-tank rifle, while standing, that would break a normal person's arm,not to mention the bevy of upgrades s/he got. I don't think even a mountain of muscle like Vegas would hold up to him/her in close combat.

That said, for his/her craziest CQC stunts (like punching out you know what big guy), remember Shepard was in full battle armor, and IIRC said armor enhances strength as well. So I don't think the gap is that large. And anyhow, Shepard can not be the absolute best at everything

But here's the thing - there is no "your" Shepard. The only game that allowed full control over Shepard was ME1. In the subsequent sequels, Shepard is a canon character. He does/says things outside of player control. Biowares doing this because some people were complaining about all the dialogue. They wanted to watch rather than choose. There is only one Shepard, it's biowares canon Shepard. The marketing can give all the lip service they want about there being no canon, but the games, since me2, show otherwise. (even the books). I know many of you on here are going to be in denial, or probably lash out at me in your elitist manner, but try to realize that just like biowares saying Shepard isn't canon and the game shows otherwise, so did they say that revan wasn't canon, yet he is. They have to canonize Shepard because they want a specific face for the franchise. They want their Marcus Fenix. You'll see march 6th.

does nobody realize that theyre not actually fighting? theyre sparring...theyre also having a convo. the bloody nose could be an accident. we dont really know until we see it.
