I have downloaded the demo but havn't played it yet. I wasn't really impressed by the trailer but maybe the demo will change my mind. Basicaly downloaded the demo for the ME 3 gear.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning reminded me of Dragon Age...y'know...the good one. Also, loved the extra ME3 gear.
Hmm well comparing it to DAO is high praise indeed. Will have to give that demo a crack.

They're both much better than Mass Effect 2.
Incorrect, tried fallout 3 a few years back and I couldn't even finish it.
I hate the postapocylyptic setting. Dull and ugly
I don't think the game itself is a bad game it just isn't for me. I like the TES series and it is basically the same mechanics as the FO series so it is mainly a setting thing with me.

I found it rather lackluster, personally. It's a great concept and fun enough, but the dialogue was unimpressive for me, and the the combat seemed like it would get stale quickly.
I played all the way through the demo for the ME3 items, but wasn't too into it by the end. Not to say it isn't good, but it's not really deep enough to be my cup of tea. I'd definitely say it's worth a try though.

Plus reading a few threads in the BSN. The Chobot flaming has me cracking up. Some take this stuff way too seriously. Heck, relax and have fun -- life is too short not to.

I found out that the novelty of my local library's video game collection had worn off at some point for the public, and I can actually play some of their good games now. Tried Dragon Age: Origins yesterday--didn't like it at first, and by the time it had grown on me, I already decided to place a hold on Dark Souls, which I'm picking up tomorrow. Then I'll probably try New Vegas or Red Dead Redemption or something. It's awesomeeee. I need distractions from the imminent release of ME3 now more than ever.

I'm getting dark souls, i hear it's really long.
You will have fun with Dark Souls. Personally, it's my top game in terms of world-building, combat depth, mythology, and atmosphere. Just make sure you're willing to embrace the game on its own terms; it's about studying your enemies and yourself. The thought process behind multiplayer was also brilliant.

I did to. But it got boring after I got and beat everything. It's not as much fun being a level 81 do-it-all badass, as it is leveling up to 50 and crafting your character based on your actions...though, not to the same extent as with ME.
