I find It funny that the People on here Rant about Characters being Shepsexual Love Intrests for both Mass Effect.
And thing that I find so funny is that the entire Shepsexual Fiasco is a product of us the Fans because when Mass Effect was released the Fan's Blew a gasket because Garrus and Tali weren't Romance Options and we also complained that Ashley and Kaiden weren't Same Sex Romance Options.

Then Bioware did what any great Game Company does they listened to the Fans and by doing so Mass Effect 2 was all Fan Service I mean they brought Garrus and Tali back as Squad members and Love Intrest's as well also Liara Fan's received major Fan Service to they got a better Reunion and The Lair Of The Shadow Broker DLC.

I think one of the Best Games ever created Is the Harvest Moon Series I think that Harvest Moon Back to Nature is probably got one of the best Romance Systems Bioware should do something similiar in the Mass Effect Series I am talking about the ability to Romance anyone you want but their would be Rivals trying to win their Heart as well as you are.

The EDIxJoker plot. I've seen people still blissfully unaware of it. At least a spoiler warning in the title would suffice.

I am curious If we will get a Female Shepard/Joker Romance in Mass effect 3 I hope so as well as a Male Shepard/Kasumi Romance.

I think one could argue the lack of LI's is some what more realistic, as people may have a
BF/GF back home (I mean not everyone in the galaxy can be single) or they simply don't find Shepard attractive.
Just a thought.

I'd say if they're going into fan-service (they're already on that route) they better turn everyone herosexual; realism has already been thrown out of the window so let's have MOAR choices !

Both of those would be awesome.

Is it wrong that I didn't romance anybody during ME1 and ME2? I'm wondering how that will pan out in the 3rd installment. I got tired about romances in BGII, and got completely turned off in DA:O (I actually laughed out loud during the scenes between your character and Morrigan, cause it was so damn cheesy).

Man I love Harvest Moon Back to Nature. I really loved the characters. Especially May, Manna, and Cliff. Karen man. It's all about Karen. I love how in the other versions, eating her food in one of the scenes knocks you out for the rest of the day because she put alcohol in it. :D

And Cliff, he was my favorite romance for the female version. Kai was pretty good too, but his is like the hardest romance ever. Yeah, if they did them like Harvest Moon, it'd be great, because you would actually DO things with your romance.

Are you joking about Back to Nature?! Sorry, got it confused with Save the Homeland, from what I hear Back to Nature seemed to be alright. Better than Innocent Life at least...

Mineral Town was the best of the old handhelds (Cliff ftw) while a Tale of Two Towns is the best of the new ones, and a Wonderful Life (go Nami) was the best console version (save that dumb ending and that shed that never opened that they forgot to remove from the game).

I have previously thought that the romance in these games was a bit similar to Harvest Moon- they definitely could look at it as an example in later games.

I <# harvest moon and own all the PAL released ones. The Mineral town series was the best though. But it would be problamatic Harvest Moon is farming simulation.

Shepard: Love me.
Garrus: Can it wait a minute?
Shepard: /gives flower

/gives flower
Garrus: I am slightly more interested.

Edit: Also, back to nature? HM64 had the best story.

HM64 was also a great Harvest Moon. Those were both fantastic games. I wish I could find HM64 again. But alas...
Also, in BTN, giving flowers like that had diminishing returns. If you gave it to them first, they'd love it, and after that, if you kept doing it in the same day, it became "eh..." Just talking to them also increased your affection with them too. The thing with Harvest Moon was that you did more than just 3 conversations or "loyalty."

Can someone inform me what the Harvest moon series romance system was like, please?

While I support the "Shepard-sexual" LIs (not that I think they're going to happen -- I think), I think Bioware should DEFINITELY make sure that the player who does not want to do any of the romances is not cheated out of developing a friendship or rivalry with any of the characters. The sad think about ME2 was that if you didn't romance a character you missed out of a huge chunk of character interaction, even in areas that weren't about romance.

I liked how Karen falls in love with you if you keep showing her your dog. If you know what I mean

"Look. Look at Urz, Jack. He's precious."
"No." *blue heart*
"The most precious thing in the universe! Look."
"No." *green heart*
"He just met you and he already loves you. Look~!"
"No." *yellow heart*
"...please?"
"Hold me, Shepard. <3"
