I preferred Normandy SR2, but I didn't really mind SR1 either.
I like the look of the new Normandy's interior

I just though of this.Does the Alliance Normandy SR2 reminded everyone what the USS Enterprise-A in Star Trek VI-The Undiscovered Country looked like ? The film's director,Nick Meyer, made It more like a military vessel than your standard brighty-lit starship.

After watching the cast reveal I;m pretty happy with how the interior of the Normandy looks. I felt the Cerberus "bright is right" lighting scheme terrible unimmersive. ME1's Normandy was dark, very SCI-FI, and it looks like ME3 is reverting back to that, at least in the cockpit with Joker, and I'm stoked.
Totally agree. Really not a fan of the bright white cerberus, so it's good to see the old lighting style back, much easier on the eyes to me.

Agreed; the lighting in the SR2 gave my Shepard a migraine.![]()
However the Normandy is not complete in my eyes until this feature is included in the final product (or at least as an option for Shepard's apartment stereo).
If they don't I might start looking for a way to overwrite the music file.

The relief to me is that they are getting rid of all the orange tint on everything, even your hud.

I just saw the ME3 galaxy exploration feature on ign which showed the Normandy's CIC with the new lighting. The video also reveiled a hatch to the cockpit where Joker is piloting the ship.
