Am thinking of setting up service with Art of War Central, either the 786mb or 1 gig package that comes with about 60 gigs of HD space. Ill only be using it Saturdays and Thursdays. Seems like a crime to pay $75/mo for something and not use it fully. It's like paying for HBO and only watching Game of Thrones. Amirite?

So tell ya what, if you run a good campaign, are reputable guy (*cough* NWCon profile *cough*), have some knowledge and want to help me learn the ropes on a few concepts Im raw on (autodownloader *snort*)... you can toss your stuff on the server for whenever you host your game. Good for me, good for your pocket, good for your players and sticking it to the server dude. Everyone wins.

PM me or toss me a message from my campaign website: http://www.dladventures.org if interested.

Consider a free DropBox account.

This gets you 2 GB of storage and you can add more by inviting others to register and install the software.

The 2 GB is way more than you'd need to host ADL files for an ongoing campaign like you're planning.

A. Do you have cable at home, if not spend $75 on your own connection, or boost the speed some. You can run a PW from a home based cable connection. Art of war from what i've heard is a bit suckish. If you have a dual or quad core system you can put the game on a core you are not using.

B. Dropbox like NWN DM said.

C. Never launcher an app i am working on, just needs some finishing touches in this area but should help configure your server for you when i get the next release up. ( at least it helps ). One of it's goals is making it easier for people just getting into hosting their own games without requiring them become technicians.

I'm in Panama at the moment. Used to run my campaigns with nwn2 @ home when I lived in Florida, but overseas can be rough. Either way, thanks for the tips.

I'm grateful and I think the community is as well for both of your all's work. I have high hopes for your app Pain.
