I loved Steve. He's not romanceable with FemShep, but I love the friendship that develops between them when she helps him deal with his grief. I'm sure the romance with male Shepard is just as sweet.

I've just got "under the bed" line . Really, some heavy but tasteful flirting betweein him and Shep in my game. Love the character. Too bad you cannot do some DAO romncing with him during the game. I'm a little disappointed that nobody ackgnowledges this relationship... I hoped at least Vega would say something like "So, Cortez, you and the commander ?" or something. M.

@Frozen: Do you have from Ashes? Does Javik even acknowlegde it at all?
Considering the banter between Cortez and Vega you'd think he'd have something to say about it, at least being hurt he's no longer the one he's staring at (I hope).

He does. Though I'm not sure why not befriending him (I would have if I could find him!) gets his shuttle shot down while he lives through the crash if do. Although I guess that explains why Kaidan was the one upset and Shepard didn't say anything.

What did Kaidan say?

And the way I understand it (in the final comm conversation with him) is that he had a will to live because Shep helped him move on from his loss

@Frozen83 yeah, did you speak to Javik? He ackowledges all romances though I'm not sure if he says "Cortez" specifically. I haven't reached that point in my current playthrough where I'm romancing Cortez, but when I was romancing Kaidan, Javik said "you and human soldier are bonded" (I think he uses it for both Ash & Kaidan). Also, Tali has a line in which she says "But now you have Cortez", something like that but I'm not sure if it's not reserved for Sheps who were with Tali and then moved on to someone else

Yeah, Suicide Mission's loyalty is a good comprsion. You need to help him deal with his personal distraction/problem, otherwise he won't be as focused and will die in the mission

It's probably one of the biggest let downs for me (An End once and for all aside (wierd how it's called that yet sounds incomplete itself), My Shepard was anything but professional with his Crew, he always took time out to chat with them and talk about thier lives, personal ones and problems, yet no one seemed thrilled for him (except Javik which is still bizarre for me), I was looking forward to long extended chats with Chakwas including mention of the romance but nothing (then again she can't keep her head screwed on properly so has her own problems) and as I talked to crew was looking forward to chat with Anderson, including mention of it but nothing (though you do still speak to him more then ME2).

Let me know if the scenes/shouts are different for a romanced Steve as he's shot down, found that a bit off tbh, one of many parts where it felt like they just cut scenes and bits from the game but maybe it's something that activates only when romanced (which would suck), My Shep was just like "Contact Cortez" even though theres nothing to indicate if thats possible. (London itself felt to short for me though for the culmination of the trilogy, for the build up of something going down there, for the intro to Major Coats, everything).

Aside from him looking like a handful of other models, even a few hiding in shadows on the normandy and a slightly younger version of him wandering the crew deck, did he lose his beard for anyone else when spoken though the QT at london? Was it burnt off in the crash?

That charity drive is insane (27k), donated money that otherwise would have gone to Omega for it, seems like a good cause, though it's feeling pretty pointless hanging round here now to talk about a game I cannot bring myself to play any part of.
Yeah it is exactly like the Suicide mission, not even unique to him in ME3 various others will die based on you fixing thier problems in 2 (though I'm not sure the point if he's on the normandy unromanced, the entire lower deck seems to have vanished).

I love Javik too. I thought he was going to be a complete poo poo head, but he turned out to be pretty great. In fact, all three of the new squadmates are awesome (EDI. Javik, and James). Shame we didn't get more time with them.

Really the Ash and Kaidan ones aren't the same yet it still refers to Kaidan as Soldier?
+5 Dissapprove, doesn't he know Kaidan's so much more then that.

That about Javik is weird, though I guess he does soften a bit (you can even get him to play nice with Liara, though she had no right to be angry at him, but should have torn the asari race a new one) My best guess is even though in his own cycle and life time he couldn't afford the time due to it being so deep into the war, he sees the value of having someone you feel strongly for to keep you grounded and with more a personal stake to fight.

Anything sweetie! But I need good Steve/mShep romance videos to make animated romance sigs and I can't find anything There are quadrillion Steve/mShep videos on YouTube but they're all either very dark or don't have Sheploo in it and I need a bright from Steve's romance with Sheploo since he's universal for sigs

Will keep searching, or hopefully someone here will record the videos? I would do it myself but my laptop's crappy and so the graphics look bad

i'm currently doing my second playthrough. my first one i didnt really talk to cortez much cus i sorta forgot he existed. this time i'm talking to him and trying to be his buddy.

he currently wants to talk to get a drink with me at the bar in the citadel. did i accidently start romancing him? or am i safe? i dont really want to romance him, but i wanna be his friend and help him get over his husband and stuff cus he's a cool dude
