Well I guess technically it was. But I didn't have to pay anything for it o-o. I just asked someone on DA if they'd consider running with an idea and they readily agreed provided they were allowed to use their Shep for it instead of Sheploo. Which is a fine compromise for me not needing to pay a single dime xD.

I loved that line xD Steve & Vega's friendship is great and I love how Vega is just 100% cool with the fact that Steve's gay, to the point he's perfectly fine joking around and whatnot

So much this. I just am not a big fan of Vega/Steve pairings <.<; I much rather prefer their platonic friendship arch to them suddenly being intimate. But I think I'm in the minority here. I just always saw them as having a very strong friendship, and Steve is my Shep's so back off Vega XD!

Same here, wish there was even more Vega/Steve friendship in context of Shortez romance, Vega giving Shep 'the talk' to take care of Steve and whatnot

Yeah that line is great but there are also other, like when he says "And Shepard... You know" right before you dive into the ocean What did you think of Leviathan overall?

I think some of the hate is that James takes up one of the few squaddie slots that many wanted to see filled by a returning squaddie.  I know in the ME3 demo (before the game launched) I had a bit of hate on James, I wanted Wrex or Grunt back. Once the game launched James grew on me and I liked him by the time I got to London on my first PT.

I like Vega, but his characterization (and consequently Shepard's characterization) wasn't always very good. He's great on missions (and with Steve in the shuttle bay), but I don't think his personal talks really did him any favors, and I'm not always a fan of the way Shepard responds to him.

Yeah, I've seen some of the hate on James... on Steve and Sam too.

I thought it was decent - the additional weapons were certainly a nice touch, and the opportunity to see Steve in action was well worth it...but we always knew he could handle big guns:devil:

Overall It was short, I didn't find it particularly difficult to finish in under an hour or so, there were a few things with how the story unfolded that could have used some work. not to give too much away but the ending of it seemed to lack clarity - the story I could understand but the visuals didn't make much sense at first.

..as for all the Vega hate, I can understand why some people were frustrated that you couldn't have wrex or grunt on your side. I really liked grunt in ME2, Wrex was awesome too. I like Vega, and I have to admit he had my full attention when he had his shirt off for that new tattoo...

I didn't like some Shep responses either, like the first one before Mars (even though it was a Paragon interrupt) felt very rude. But my point is that it's his entire persona that matters, and the interactions with Steve are part of it. If he's this cool to Steve, I'm sure he's just as cool to his other friends. Steve interactions show his softer side

Under an hour? xD It took me over 3, though I was searching every corner and playing on Insanity lol

Even if there's a new smoking hot sex scene for Shortez in Omega, I am 100% sure we won't literally see Steve playing with that gun :P:P But that's where fanart/fics come to the rescue
