I suck at recognizing accents, anyone can tell what Steve's accent is and which country he could be from?

Going by his accent he definitely would be from the Northeastern United States.

I do visit this thread from time to time.  The reason I spoke out so much in the Ken/Gabby thread was because we accidentally shipped with a nasty bug that basically cut them from most player's games.  Thank goodness that didn't happen with Cortez.

Thanks Dusty for the great work on Cortez.  I lost a loved one last year and the Cortez arc pulled at my heart strings, I really identified with Cortez's pain.

Bioware certinately didn't lie when they said Citadel views in ME3 would be the best in the franchise yet Wonder if Steve would be up to moving there permanently after marrying Shep, my Shep sure would love to live on the CItadel where his romance with Steve started They could go rock the dancefloor in Purgatory every night  Well, maybe not Shep, he can't dance xD

Thanks Isaac.  I had alrady delt with my RL stuff, but Cortez's arc really felt real.   It made me  often but it felt good for my Shepard to help him through his pain even though Kaidan in my LI.

haha yes! I remember going to Croatia for the first time a few years back and I was like "wait a sec, I DO undertsand some of it :o" Not sure why but for many years I've never heard Croatian and assumed it was completly different language so it was qite a suprise for me ;P

Absolutely! Helping Steve applies to all Sheps, regardless if it's mShep, FemShep, straight or gay. I can't understand how can anyone not help Steve or ignore him. Some of the trollish comments about killing him I've read on the net are just Ohh well, our Sheps love Steve enough <3

There are places in the US that's pretty bad too, I live in one of the more conservative states.  

My first Shepard didn't have LI in-game, but I head-canon'd it as Kaiden until ME3 made it official.  My second Shepard is a "mShep" so has been with Kaidan since ME1.  My third Shepard will pick Steve.

Yeah I read some things about it. Hopefully in few decades or so, it won't be a poblem anywhere, like it is portrayed in Mass Effect universe

I never did modded mShep. Watched some videos and I just can't get past characters calling him a woman, too immersion breaking for me. So my Sheps were single for years lol But thankifully it's over in ME3 And I especially love how I can say it loud and clear at the beginning of Steve's romance that my Shep likes guys Wish that option was there in ME1 during Liara's conversations

 Exactly!  They should be more worried about getting curb stomped by Vega then Steve.  And all it would take is for them to insult Steve to set James off.

But I am glad that more and more media outlets are showing that Gay and Straight people, same sex or not, can be the best of friends.

Definitley. And like I said on the previous page, Vega's friendship with Steve actually helped Vega's character tremendously. Even Escapist Magazine podcast talked about it
