I've never previously thought of that before! Yanno, I've never used Kaidan in the last battles. I think I will take him on those last two missions on Earth next time. I do hate that part though, the crash. Especially if you romanced Cortez, it would have been so much better if you could see him in person instead of that stupid hologram. Something similar to the scene where Kaidan kisses Shepard for the "last goodbye" would have been sweet.

Perhaps; I am inclined to agree that much of our complaints were a byproduct of completing the game with insufficient time. However, now that the game is out (been what, two-three months now?), "time" is no longer an excuse. BioWare should have plenty of time to work on bugs, quality, and fan-promoted improvements/changes. Such improvements should include LI at some point.ElijahRee wrote...

Completely agree. The worst scene in LI: very dry and very formal. I was expecting a more personal conversation between Shepard and Steve.
I think the BW were in a hurry and they simply do not have enough time to make more details.

Yes I have, because in ME2 I felt the Jack romance was so sweet and emotional. I did import it and continue the romance in ME3 once already. The only thing you get is "I want to get laid". Which to me is an insult to her character and the romance from ME2. IMO, her romance was an emotional turning point for her. Have you guys seen the Jack London goodbye? I think it's the worst from all romances. It's literally like 10 seconds and consist of TWO romance lines o.0
Jack, Miranda and Steve should be standing with everyone else. It's only 3 more characters but these characters are LIs so romance goodbyes need more physical interaction (not to mention more lines)

I can actually understand that point of view. I do think the only real flirting part is when you meet him in Purgatory (which the flirting is actually optional). Everything seems to me to be just friendly support for someone who is in need of a friend. I do hope that you have helped him in your playthrough(s), him dieing on Earth is too tragic.o Ventus wrote...

It makes me happy that Bioware managed to portray a gay character without making him an enormous stereotype.
If I may nitpick though, it does seem somewhat strange with MaleShep/Cortez's friendship (Not romance) dialogue. It's just a little creepy at times, as if heterosexual Shepard is flirting with him (Same thing with MaleShep and James).

As for the James thing, this is my opinion and not many will agree, but I think there needs to be more (optional) flirting with James.

I would have liked the ability to choose what Shepard would have said (the bed thing included). When I first heard it, I was half-expecting James to go, "Oh really. . .?" especially with FemShep.
