I guess I really should look into gibbed since so many use it and it has such a variety of uses. Do I change that integer right after the beginning or do I change it in the ME2 save?Kunari801 wrote...

So far the above it working fo rme, Ken, Gabby, and Adams all have had more to say but I'm just getting to Rannoch.
Gaydar doesn't always work in real-life either. He pretty much says he lost his husband on the first convo so no real time to get-to-know him before he tell you he's gay. I must say that in ME1 Kaidan was showing on the Gaydar at least I thought so. I stopped following most ME3 news about a year ago now because I didn't want any spoilers. I knew there would be s/s relationships and a few other details, I did not know Steve until he told me in our first convo.
Yes, Steve and Samantha are both great characters in that they are human first and their sexuality isn't their primary attribute in game. They're both more than just "a gay character" and both blow the lid off the gay stereotypes.
I normally can't keep myself from learning about something I love as much as I do Mass Effect, but like Steve's character arc, I suffered a illness & loss in the family (not my Husband thank God) but it kept me away from news on ME3. I was playing Arrival --for the first time-- and it will always remind me of the phone call that started the whole personal-arc.
Needless to say, Steve's arc really pulled at my heart as I could *so* relate to what he was going through Iright along with him.
Yeah, I did always feel like Kaidan was at least bi. The whole opinion was strenghtened when I found out about the cut dialogue for him and the original plans to make him available for both sexes. They might have cut the romantic dialogue, but the general disposition Kaidan gave was still there and I think that is one of the reasons they finally made him available in ME3 (the other reason being fanservice). I completely disagree with people who say it changed his character or whatever because it didn't to me.
Sorry for you loss buddy; it's probably bittersweet to be able to relate to a character in the game.
Many people already complain that the Steve romance moves too fast as is (I disagree). But that there, that might be a bit too fast.IsaacShep wrote...
I feel ya! When he first told me "I feel so lonely" my Shep wanted to grab him, make out with him right there in the shuttle bay and scream "But you have meee!!!"Lee80alabama wrote...
Steve has the best story-line for the romances and/or friendships. My heart just breaks when he's crying over his husband's sound recording. I know he's fictional, but it's hard not to care about the guy.
However, I would kill for a sweet Paragon interrupt in that scene. There might be a light hug and a "everything is going to be okay" from Shep. Maybe that paragon interrupt could allow you to skip the convincing dialogue you need to get him to go to the Citadel for a break?
