Yeah, I love Kaidan, but Cortez's romance is probably my favorite since my last playthrough just because of the atmosphere he delivers. I headcanoned a lone Sheploo was 90% renegade throughout ME1, ME2, and early parts of ME3. After getting to be with Steve, he began to turn around. By the time the ending came, Shep's scars had pretty much been all healed. I got a bit teary as I saw the pretty scar-less face walking toward and shooting at the destroy tube. I ignored that damned asari's face and pretended he was thinking of Steve instead. Come on BioWare, show us all of our LIs at the end, not just Liara and VS!!!

Yes....that part bugs the crap out of me about the ending montage that Liara is shown there instead of Steve.  From what I understand is it's not one of the VS or Liara herself, she gets placed there.  Total BS.  hopefully they correct that.

On a side note...I like that take on you headcanoned Shep.  That's actually sound very romantic. "Steve brings out the best in him. " <3

I always turn my head away so I can't see that particular asari. I don't wanna see Liara last. Steve or no one.

+ I want a real goodbye scene with Steve, not just some hologram lamescene. Shep can't hug a hologram, right?

People say it's a known bug that when Liara/VS appear it's your LI, but because of the "bug" it shows Liara by default (more Liara loving by bioware )

Yes and yes. That was the whole point of my headcanoned Shep. Shep is saving the galaxy but Steve saves Shep from himself (the angry, renegade self). <3

okay did some browsing.

it's not a bug, the only files in those flashbacks are Liara and Ashley/Kaidan

but anyway still defaults to Liara...

I like how you head-canan that Shepard.   My Steve LI Shep was a Reneagon, Steve is a calming influence on Shepard.

I'm goingo to be totally off of you guys, but I actually don't mind Liara in the end. I mean, to my Shep she is his best friend, an they have been through a lot. Steve, you just meet him in the end. Yes, I would have liked him better (hell, I think VS, Anderson and your LI, and NOT Joker should have been there), but Shep has a history with Liara, more history than with Steve...
BTW, I've just found out that you can "lock out" of relationship with Liara and ASH in ME1. If you speak a lot with them and then say to Liara that Ash is a friend and Liara also, they really friendzone you and you cannot start a relationship with them... Cool. Usually I would get that converstion later on, but I've survived 2 major mission withjout either of them "trying anything" . M.

I like Liara, but with Steve as my LI, I'd rather see him that Liara. I agree, drop Joker.

Yeah my last ME1 I didn't intend to get either Ash NOR Liara thinking I wanted to romance them then I had that confrontation and there is no option to tell them both to say "I don't want either of you." So next time I'll lock in my Kaidan romance in ME1 first before I talk to them again.

At least Garrus and Wrex don't try to get into my pants in ME1.

  Only one man alive can handle the might and hotness of Steve.  Joker would probably crumble to pieces just by Steve taking off his shirt and showing J his perfect defined torso.

There is conversation in DAO with Whynn if you are in romance with Morrigan. It goes something like
