the first part of the video was dark but the other vid around the 617 mark is clear i think hes maybe dirty blonde?

I can't watch the video at the moment, so I don't actually know about these different versions. The only one I've seen was in the leaked beta, posted at the start of the thread.

In a day or two I'll be able to check out that video and add the other screenshot to the OP.

OP updated with that other Steve picture.

Personally, I think the graphics for that entire scene are broken. In the section before, you can barely see Wrex and Shepard looks submerged in shadows.

Given that it comes from the same beta where Steve is brown-haired and pale (and in normal lighting, to boot) I'm inclined to think the blonde hair is just a graphics issue.

We'll know in about a week.

I'm really glad we have a discussion thread for Steve, but isn't everything we say about him a spoiler since we're not even supposed to know about him yet? Either way, I can't wait to see him in the game/demo (he'll probably have his final face there). I really hope he has a unique facemorph.

Me too. It would be kind of a back hand to the face if they gave him some generic character creator model (especially since the male CC isn't very good anyway, at least in my opinion).

^ the male CC is pretty bad, yeah XD. Actually, it's pretty hard for me to make attractive femSheps as well (I just can't stand the way the lips look. All of them look like femShep is always doing the 'duck face'.).

The only attractive custom Shepards I have are my default looking ones and one that I used Kaidan's face structure (I don't know if that's going to carry over in ME3 but I don't mind changing all of them to the default XD). All of my other Shepards end up looking 'wrong' no matter how much I try to make them decent looking XD.

Edit: Oh, and yeah, I agree. If Diana can get a unique facemorph then so should Steve :3

Sorry Kaidan, our love affair is over. After seeing the new images of Sexy Steve (the real s/s...) my Shep will be all over that like butter on toast.... :-)
