I need moar ideas for my Steve fan-fic.   For me when Joker starts to bug out Steve takes the shuttle and goes back to Earth... so he never crashes on jugle-planet.   A ret-con to be sure but that's what I see as my starting point.   Too lame?

Steve got me too very early on, but I didn't know that he was a possible LI for Shep during my first playthrough. I didn't know there was an option for M/M so I went with Liara since I really liked her in the first game. I was shocked when my Shep said "I'm hurt. Why aren't you looking over here?" and Steve continued to say that Shep was already with Liara. I'd have needed to go a lot of missions again if I'd have decided to try if there really is a Steve romance. I didn't and I somewhat rushed to the end only to start a new game and find out that there's really Steve which can be romanced! That was awesome! During the second playthrough I also noticed that BroShep can be with Kaidan too. I've never chosen anyone else besides them after the grand realization. Steve:5 times, Kaidan 3 times.

Regarding the fanfic: It's not a lame start if Steve happens to find a close-to-death Shep under rubble.

In my ME1 playthrough I romanced Liara, in ME2 Tali... in ME3 - STEVE! I like to the think that my Shep was lost, closeted perhaps, and it was through Steve's openness with his love for his husband that my Shep could finally admit that he was in fact gay and experience real love for once.

Sure, I had to let both Liara & Tali down, but I found the way that they were written in ME3 to be perfect for best friends, especially Liara! So the end scene, with Liara's gift and the shoulder lean/arm hug being the exact same way my real life female best friend hugs me... it just made such perfect sense that I actually teared up seeing that, knowing she was your best friend and loved you regardless of the past and how she might still have feelings for me.

Sorry if I'm rambling, I just really loved how it all worked out for my Shep & Steve & his hags! =P

It's sad that Shep doesn't say it. It's really saddening. When he gets up from the bed, he doesn't even kiss Steve like he'd kiss Kaidan.

About Liara's goodbye, I have no problem with him leaning on Shep's shoulder, but when the mindsex ends, she touches Shep's arms and uses very loud body language. It just doesn't fit in when she is not the LI. I guess BioWare made the game with Liara as the LI in mind, made all the scenes smoldering with romance and when the time run out and the game needed to go gold, all the animations were left there as they were.  Just a few different lines altered.

No, not at all.  Kaidan+Shep's "Jungle World" is seperate and I've already got most of it outlined.  Normandy crash isn't a dream in that one and so Allers is dead.  In fact, the next chapter is centered around Shepard and will be published tonight or tomorrow after I proof read it again.  

I'm talking about a future Shepard+Cortez fan-fic I'm thinking about.  Having the Normandy crash a dream leaves Steve and everyone else is still around Earth.   I'm still working out a general plot line so open to ideas.

Oh. I was kidding anyway! Who even cares about her? I never let her aboard the Normandy.

I thought you were talking about the tale which is in your sig. I didn't know you have a new story incoming. Well, now I'm a bit wiser than a minute ago.

I've never written any fiction about anything, excluding what I needed to write in school... So I have only one advice for you: Don't kill Steve.  Embrace this advice with caution.

The Jungle World has been great so far. Keep up the good work!

OMG, no way!  Steve isn't going to die in either "Jungle World" nor the Shep+Cortez one if I end up writing that one.  Kaidan and Steve may get in a fight but neither one is going to die.

I never got too far in DA:O but I did get to a brothel and was suprised you could be a S/S option.

Did you hook up with Steve before Tali returned? Did she notice? Did Liara say anything? I never romanced anyone as mShep in ME1/ME2. Only did male romances in my one single test speed FemShep playthrough so I'm never in triangle situations or have to dump anyone to romance Steve hehe
