Yes, if Shepard Survives, Your LI will smile in the "Funeral" Scene, suggesting they don't believe you're dead.

Does Cortez have any additional lines of dialogue? Can he appear and tell Joker to disengage or anything?

As far as I can tell Steve doesn't have any new dialogue. I do hope they do come out  with a Romance DLC - but I really wouldn't hold my breath over it...Humans need oxygen to function.

But as things stand i'm preparing to do a complete run of ME1 to ME3 this time with Wrex and Kaidan, and with the destruction of the Heretic Geth so that the Quarians and Geth can have peace.I just want to see if the game plays through differently.

No. Quite clearly they only hired squad, Shep and Hackett voice actors back, the minimum to explains the most problematic ending scenes. No one else says anything new. Fingers crossed Steve/Sam & ME2 squadmates are brought back for future DLC though! :D

That was pretty intense the way he was looking at him.  I had Kaidan and James on my squad during that final charge, it was heartbreaking.

I really wish there was something more to the Destroy ending.  Like someone running up behind them from the elevator, seemingly excited telling them something and everyone suddenly is overtaken by joy.  Then a close up of Steve with a huge smile on his face as he looks at the name plate and pulls it to his chest.

But all in all I really did like the EC, definitely felt more fleshed out.  And Steve......having Steve in the flashback was icing on an already delicious cake.

I had EDI and Kaidan charging with me to the beam. EDI got all the lines, but the way EDI talked and looked Shep... It makes picking destroy very hard. I don't want to kill her, but I want Shep + Cortez reunion. There's no happy ending for me. :(

EDI and that friggin sexbot body of hers, I don't know about you guys but that bit really annoyed me. In my play through the Geth had already been destroyed by the Quarians. So that left only the reapers - the remaining synthetics in the galaxy left to be destroyed.

I really didn't Like EDI that much, Joker was ok - he was a bit too much of a nerdboy for my taste.

I had Garrus and James following with me through to the beam, and I did find that extraction part hard...I knew James wanted to stay and fight.

"--Tickling me with your footsteps. - That was a joke"
EDI is a very nice character. I really don't like the body, but her "emotions" are clearly visible in EC. In addition she's good friend of Shepards, at least in my headcanon. EC raised her to my top three best characters in ME. Steve is, of course, the first then Kaidan as the second and EDI as the third one.

Since this is the Steve thread:

I liked EDI.  And I think it was her naivete, and wanting to understand humans that got to me.  Past the sexbot look, she always had this mild yet wide-eyed expression of wonder.  It made me happy that she was officially part of the team.  And like Beep I was kinda hard for me to pick Destroy, but in the end I want my Steve to be happy.

Joker did seem a slight bit off this time, but I take that more to the fact of his relationship with EDI.

I agree EDI had her moments, and Joker had his. Seriously If EDI started promising anyone cake - It would be a race to be on the first escape pod. I didn't find EDI's Naivete convincing - she has been flying around for some time now. Not to mention watching crew members on security cams. ...which is kinda creepy.

For me perhaps the most memorable characters for me besides Steve would have to be Mordin Solus and Grunt - those two were really great.

I was totally expecting for the Destroy/survived ending an unvoiced scene where the Kodiac pulls in to the ruins of the Citadel and -insert love interest here- rushes out to cradle Shepard's unconscious body as he slowly opens his eyes and your LI smiles or something. I was pretty disappointed.

Oh trust it....that has always been my one wish.  After all this is Shep's crew we are talking about.  They would want to confirm it themselves.

I can't get over how perfect the Steve flashback is! I just saw all the flashbacks available and Steve's is definitely the best. He has such a confident, sexy smile and swagger... I just can't believe it! haha

 Everytime I see it :D  Best part of EC for me. Ahh Steve.......

Thanks for the link BB.  I figured all the romancable would be in the end, along with friends that passed.  But some like James and Javik kinda surprised me there.  I don't mind it though. (James actually looks really cute in that flashback too)

I liked Steve's the most ( Gee am I biased or what?) I also liked Vega's flashback too. At first I thought Steve winked in the flashback but now I see he didn't...but if he did - that would have been so totally hot!
