True, but in the credits it's "Steve". This "Steven" on the Memorial Wall is the 1 single time his name is written like that. Dusty should come back and make it final & official for us

I already posted here(last page) that Dusty said his official name is Steven, but no one calls him that and the nickname "Steve" is the name he answers.
Steve > Steven anyway...

So did I, I don't think Bioware will put in the effort for making a Romance DLC if the community only has a demand for extended content one or two characters - so they either extended the content for all of them or none at all.

It's exceedingly unlikely. I don't want to say impossible, but highly improbable.

Character DLC is also likely not going to happen, but I'd say it has a slightly better chance than any romance-specific content (and I really want to help Kaidan find his squad or rescue his dad, and Steve needs to find out where the Hammerhead is and help us get it back).

I made sure to vote for Steve too this time, in addition to Kaidan.

God help us if all we end up getting is more Liara DLC.

Steve is the shuttle pilot so it's highly likely that he'll get more lines.
And it's a possibility that Vega'll be a romance option, but I just fear that he will be only available for FemShep.

It goes without saying that the blue tentacle monster will get more content since the writers already tried to shove her down our throats.

If they add the obligatory "vehicle DLC" I reckon we might see more of him. I think Steve was a surprisingly popular character for BioWare once people got over being terrified of "I might ninja-mance him!11!" (yes, I saw this everywhere).

I was genuinely surprised at how many lines he got in ME3 anyway. I expected him (and Traynor) to be late minute addons like Kelly.

I don't know. Straight FemShep kind of got the shaft when it came to LI's, so I wouldn't begrudge her James. Not that I'd object to him being bi in the least.

I wouldn't mind giving Vega to Fem!Sheps. They honestly don't have enough romances as it is with ME3. Jacob knocks up some other girl; cheating on you. Thane dies halfway through the game and there's nothing you can do about it. Kaidan had two chances to be dead by Mass Effect 3. I believe Liara and Samantha are the only two LIs that have plot armor that you can romance. And, I find it understandable if someone doesn't want to romance either.

So, really, I don't mind giving Vega to only Fem!Sheps they sort of deserve it after their romances got derailed.

Let Vega LI for FemShep and a good friend and a squadmember for MaleShep. I d'not want to see him as a Bi. 

Straight  James is more interesting for me.

One that romanced either Thane or Jacob in ME2 does. You have a romance right there to fall back onto; Steve Cortez. Fem!Shep has no male characters for her to fall back onto regardless of past games.

Ok, Take a Bro!Shep who romanced no one in ME2, Nuked Kaidan on Vrimire, and decides to start a romance in ME3. He has the options of Ashley, Liara, and Steve.

Take a Fem!Shep who made the exact same choices. She only has Samantha or Liara to fall back onto, None of which are dudes.

Saying "Just romance Garrus or Virmire Ash" isn't a great answer because it asks someone to go back and edit their choices as if to say "You didn't make the right choice", or, atleast, that's how it comes across to me.

Straight FemShep:
ME1 - Kaidan
ME2 - Thane, Jacob, Garrus
ME3 - Kaidan, Garrus

Gay BroShep:
ME1 - Alone
ME2 - Still alone
ME3 - Finally some action here! Steve, Kaidan

And if one is aiming to romance someone, I'm sure s/he isn't going to make it impossible to do so (in this case Kaidan/Garrus), right?

Ok, so, I'm making my way through Mass Effect 3 for a third time, One thing that bugged me on my second playthrough and is now really bugging me on my third playthough is, Where the hell is Steve during Mars?

I ask this because Shepard purposfully asks James to go back and take care of the Kodiak because of the storm and ete. And James is the pilot during the beginning of that mission too.

I natrually though, Oh, maybe we picked Cortez up when we have to go to the Citadel later, but, when you meet Cortez later, He says that he was overseeing the retrofits on the Cargo Hold for the Normandy, so he was on the ship when it left Earth.

So, Why wasn't he flying the Kodiak for Priority: Mars?

Steve was there where the rest of the crew was: nowhere to be seen. The first time I played ME3, I was wondering if the crew consisted of only Shep, Joker, James, Kaidan and Liara since one can't see anybody else there.
Obviously, BioWare chose to do the crew introduction after the prologue, but I can't fathom why Shep didn't use the intercom to call the shuttle pilot to pilot the shuttle. (I'm only wondering this since the game would contain more Steve content if this was true).

Yes, he says "I wasn't assigned as Normandy's pilot--not much need for one on a dry-docked ship." and "Especially given Mr. Vega's love for midair collisions."
But he also says "With my experience, it made sense for me to take over as shuttle pilot when we left Earth."
So maybe there's a bit incongruity, but I guess I'm okay with that.
