What do you guys think of a possibility of Steve appearing earlier in ME movies? Would you accept if he worked as the Shuttle pilot for Cerberus during the Collector fight, kind of like Ken and Gabby did but then switched to Alliance?

It'd make some sense because:

1) Collectors took Robert and Alliance wasn't doing anything hence he has the motivation. The Collectors were targeting colonies in the Terminus systems...Colonies that were clearly stated to not be aligned with the Alliance. I'm just not a huge fan of how everyone in Cerberus gets pardoned.
2) We really have no idea whose piloting the damn shuttle in ME2. :P

It doesn't make sense to me, because Steve mentioned in the first conversation that he has been in the Alliance for years - and Steve, at least to me is the loyal type...not inclined to stray from his ideals.

I just meant it in a sense if Hollywood was to change some stuff in ME movie adaptations ;) Agree that Steve is loyal and has strong ideals, but at the same time, Ken & Gabby ain't bad either, they went with Cerberus to help Shep fight with Collectors. Like MACharlie1 said, for Steve, Robert's death could be an argument. Collectors did it and at that time, it was Cerberus that was doing something about it

I don't understand how he could have been in the Alliance while stationed/living on a colony in the Terminus systems. Y'know...colonies that strayed from the Alliance.

It is confirmed these colonies totally strayed from the Alliance? Isn't it the same situation like with Attican Traverse colonies where Citadel Council won't do anything in case of attacks but the Alliance still establishes/supports these colonies?

Starting another game and once again torn about who to romance. On the one hand, I love Kaidan and he gets the great sex scene. On the other, Steve is so damn cute and I really love how flirty he gets after you start the romance. It really does give you the sense you're in an on-going relationship.

On that note, it's pretty damn awesome to play a game where I'm actually torn about which gay romance to pursue. That's never happened to me before.

Well, tbh it's only like the second Bioware game where there are TWO gay romances to pick from xD But I totally get you, Steve & Kaidan are both like the kind of guys I like so it's hard to pck and I just keep switching between them, Bioware did good job with gay romances in ME3 :D

I'll be off for roughly a week from this moment so I'll leave you a to-do-list.

Will do! :D Have fun Beep and if you *accidentaly* happen to stumble upon future husband, don't forget to report it to us :P

I spent time at a boring summerhouse and there weren't any hopefuls. On the other hand, there were a lot of gadflies and culices and they ate me alive. The sun was almost as nice as they were and burned my skin... As the icing of the cake, the summerhouse had this nice outhouse which was infested with bugs.

Was it a nice trip? Nope!:P

It's so good to be back here...;)

It does not make sense to me either but science fiction and fantasy series have always been guilty of changing continuity on the fly. In ST:TNG Capt. Picard had a deal with the Federation colonists that they would have to give up Federation citizenship and protection to continue living in Cardassian space but in ST:DS9 the colonists were treated as Federation citizens whose embrace of terrorism put the Federation officers in bad situations with the Cardassians because they were citizens and entitled to Federation protection.

Continuity was not as important as drama.

I think that Steve and Samantha were given Terminus history so NEW players could get a glimpse of what Shepard was battling in ME2 and the writers wanted a "natural" way to inject it into the game without requiring players to read all the codex.

Continuity was not deemed as important as exposition.

I did listen it when you first posted it, but as I suck really hard at recognising voices... I didn't leave a reply. It sounded a bit of him... Wait! Where's he break-dancing?
