The only minor problem with Steve's romance was that after the Purgatory scene, there wasn't anything, besides those generic flirt lines, until the Cronos Station.

This is actually like that with many other romances. Only Tali has some more content since Rannoch arc happens after you already lock her in. But Ash, Kaidan & Sam don't have any scenes either between the date and pre-Cronos scene either from what I know

Yea I know, I just never bothered downloading gibbed xD. Eh whatever she wouldn't be so bad if the minute Thessia is attacked she breaks apart and everyone's all "OH MY GOODNESS /LIARA/ NO!" Completely forgetting that their own home worlds are in peril and just...ugh that entire sequence felt very forced in my opinion.

Ugh...all of the flirting/ambient dialogue is very difficult to pick a favorite from. They're all very well done and I love them all. Which makes not getting an "I Love You" even more upsetting v.v.

Thessia and the aftermath caused by it are the worst events which happen in ME. I just can't stop facepalming during that. For example, Joker told a good joke and I've been given two options:
1. YELL at Joker.
2. Rip his head off.
That's why I just spam spacebar during it. I use spacebar when Kai Leng appears and continue to use it until I'll go talk to Garrus. And Garrus is the last one to talk with.

Worst...how so? Because of Kai Leng and his accursed plot bubble of invulnerability stealing the data? That I could see. However Thessia being attacked was not the worst thing in the game to me xD. Perhaps I'm a bit jaded but considering the Reapers left Thessia for LAST the Asari had ample opportunity and time to evacuate their citizens. It hardly seems like its Shepard's fault they thought themselves sheltered from the war. *sigh* What frustrated me was how Shepard was completely blown off despite the loss hanging on their shoulders so heavily in favor of Liara. Only Anderson and James seem to offer any sort of comfort what so ever for poor Shep where as Liara gets showered with worry.

Lol I didn't find Joker's joke to be very good to be honest with you xD. Although it was very Joker-esque it seemed to be his way of trying to show you his concern. So I can appreciate that for what it was.

I just wish your LI would have shown some concern for you.

Things I dislike about Thessia.
1. Liara is a forced squadmember.
2. She whines during the entire mission.
3. She complains way too much there about the prothean - asari history.
4. Spaceprimaballerina appears.
5. Shep is forced to mourn about Thessia.
6. Liara becomes the most important thing for the whole crew after Thessia.
That's about it. Section 5 is just unbearable.

Also, I laughed when Steve said "Hey, get out of here! I like the view as you walk away." after Thessia. He was able to balance my feelings just like that.

Ugh yea number 5 was the biggest one >_>. The whole thing was forced and definitely took you out of the player position. Ah well.

....This requires more Steve!

You can balance every 6 points with only one thing (beside Steve): bring with you Javik. I love his attitude during Thessia, he force Liara to put things in perspective. 

For example, one of my favourite dialogue in the entire trilogy comes from there: 

Liara: "This is a nightmare."
Shepard: "Let's go find this artifact, and then we can all wake up."
Javik: "...50.000 years later."

It's great how Javik make people understand that they are not the first suffering from the Reapers War.

I can understand. I have my own "mandatory squadmates", like Javik, James and EDI, and when other squadmates are forced it's always terrible to decide!

Sometimes I think that it's a fortune that some of my favourite characters in ME3 (like Steve and Samantha) just stays on the Normandy... Speaking of this, do pics of Steve in a battle armor have been posted before? I would love to see it!

As for the battle armor I would love to see Steve in one It's good that we see him with a rifle in Leviathan, he's Alliance after all, he got to ahve combat training just like Joker could handle a rifle too. But the armor would just complete it He could borrow one from Vega's collection

And shotgun for short-range combat! And he would be setting up turrets all over the map! For some reason I just think Steve would be a big fan of turrets

Steve is a pretty big guy (even if he's not a Vega-level big guy) so at the very least they would have to make a bigger model of the normal Alliance soldier armors. It would be pretty cool.

Also, using a rifle in Mass Effect doesn't seem to be "spray and pray", lots of soldier we see during cutscene use them very reality-like, shooting short bursts of fire instead of keep pulling the trigger all day long.

I can see the turrets, but I think Steve would go melee if things got that close.

I just can't see him pumping you full of shot when he can just punch you in the face. He's a no-nonsense kind of guy, don't you think? :-)

Yeah, the body is part of the outfit, so everybody using that same casual has the exact same body (just with variable skin color).

The only custom casuals (only humans get casual appearances) are Vega and Ashley IIRC.

The default combat appearances for all the squadmates have the correct body (they're all unique to the respective character), but a lot of the alternate armors are just reskins of different bodies (so body size changes for Kaidan if you switch to the Cerberus engineer reskin or the ugly trooper reskin, etc.).

It would be nice if Steve in armor got a reskin at least, but I'm betting they would just stick his head on the standard Alliance soldier body and call it a day.
