I don't think he gave two-s***ts what people thought by that point. The line is the same if you romance Steve or not so... so it's kind of generic for us who romanced Steve.

I think Garrus is the only real competitor for Liara. They both have a bunch of content. Garrus lacks one aspect though: The stalking.:bandit:
