'cause I am
I want the last game in Shepard's story to be a full experience of ME3. With all the negative "reaper"cussions that come with it.

I think you may have to go through this order. Its a good idea and makes multiple playthroughs fun by making it more challenging.Luc0s wrote...
I'll do what I did in ME2.
First Veteran, then Hardcore and then Insanity.

I'm reckless. We do have the demo to get accustomed to the changes though.Chris Priestly wrote...
I wouldn't recommend it.
Combat has changed since ME2. The omni-blade, the cover mechanics, better enemy AI, etc. I'd recommend you try it at a lower setting initially to "get" the changes, then do an Insanity playthrough if you want to give it a shot.

I don't think it's ever been locked for Mass Effect.samurai crusade wrote...
Is it confirmed that you can play insanity from the get-go? Most games I've played you have to unlock the insanity or hardcore modes by beating the game on a lower setting first.
Just throwing that out there. I start on the highest setting possible too... but the highest might be locked
