This thread is for the discussion of everything Samantha Traynor, a new member of the Normandy crew in ME3. Here she is!

First off, her VA is Alix Wilton Regan who is actually a regular at Bioware for voice acting. Click the link for more details.

Samantha is the Normandy's new communications specialist who manages the goings-on of the Normandy and informs Shepard of important war intel and developments with the crew. She's witty, fun, and likes to play chess. She's like Kelly from ME2, but better and more interesting in every concievable way.

Samantha is also a romance option for female Shepards.

Haha, good question.

In ME2, I found Chambers creepy and ordered her to act professionally, as a result, she did not offer to take care of the fish. Hopefully, Samantha is not like that.

Lucky for you it's been confirmed that the Normandy is now equipped with highly-advanced, automatic fish-feeder. Mass Effect fields may or may not be involved with such high-end tech.

- BW will make her black-haired (like Yvonne -> Miri)
- She won't be available for m!Sheps (which is kinda sad - the only blonde woman is not for Shep) ...

Sounds like Reaper tech to me. How long before Shep hears "assuming direct control" from one of his fishies?

Her dialogue looked interesting. I'll make a femShep for her- Kelly didn't do it for me and I already have a Shepard for (hopefully) Samara and Liara.

As I recall, official reason why Miri is brunette was "this suits to her costume". So if Samantha would ran around in Alliance casual outfit, which is blue and looks good with blond hair, then she'll likely stay blonde.
