You do realize it's a war, right?  And Shepard is a soldier.  That means lots of physical, emotional and mental stress.  That means lots of working out to keep in shape - even though she probably wouldn't have much of a problem with that, what with the armor and big ass guns and all - so she's gonna be (in a realistic sense) muscular and anything but dainty.
The emotional and mental stress would lead to an aged appearance at an accelerated rate, as well.

And what female has the concern, much less time or energy, to do their makeup and hair during a gorram war?  That's one thing I HATED about the new Ashley in ME3.  Fecking beauty queen = complete departure from her character in ME1.

The default FemShep in game looks like she's about to run (badly) for a beauty pageant, not fight a war.

problem with that clip is that it looks like she is trying too hard to be a man. IS it not possible to be a good looking female and still kick butt?

anyways, getting off track.

Sorry...but I don't get this talk about how she's "too butch/masculine" or trying "too hard to be a man."

1) It's clearly a large close-quarters battle.

2) How does one make a fight (or make war, in general) "more feminine"?

I think she looks perfectly fine.  I rather like Trailer Default FemShep.  In-game Default FemShep..not so much.

I'm sorry, but I really have to do this...

For all the bio-males out there... good luck getting her bra off.

I agree--serving in combat put alot of stress on the body as well as the mind
everyday I live with the images of what I saw and experienced
my platoon sergeant was 37 yrs old and looked 77 from serving in Vietnam

trailer femshep looks too much like a guy in that trailer. a pony tail, sure, but hair that short, I tried it and  I thought my femshep at the time looked more like Sheploo in drag.

but, whatever floats your boat. We need to get back to Sam.

@above: That she is.

anyone else think that Samantha should have a bit of a professional rivalry going with Liara? or being jealous of her being the Shadowbroker?

Sam is above petty rivalry. Besides Sam found Cronos base, Blue didn´t...   Posted Image

But if you cheat on Liara with Sam, she wil get pissy on you, when you have some Zaeed dialogue with Blue.   Posted Image

I really enjoyed the character of Traynor. I felt she was more interesting then Kelly Chambers. And the romance was well done.

I played male sheps, and had a crush on Traynor. Always felt lucky to have her aboard, and being friends was alright by me.

And I hate how everyone complains about default FemShep looking like a model - She's designed to look sexy.

Same with Sheploo - His appearance is created according to a Dutch supermodel - So what?

edit

I prefer to play as default FemShep but I also have this custom Shep:

232.713.Q1I.P6L.UKN.1DE.NCN.831.IN8.8Q5.346.16A

I have no idea where the stereotype that most femshep players are horny teenages who want to play as a lesbian come from.

No.  Idea.

Ah! I've got a couple of friends who looks almost exactly like the first picture. I always joke with them about the "Lesbians in the mind of men" topic.

I'm a 22 years old boy, anyway. Just so you know that not every male femshep player is a horny teenager.
