Despite romancing Samantha almost entirely by accident (I didn't think I'd get locked in by just taking a shower!), I had no regrets. She's such a great new character, and incredibly sweet. Her final scenes with Shepard are some of my favourites from the entire trilogy.

Hopefully more of her in the DLC.

we have our fingers crossed that Sam will get added dialogue and maybe a scene in the Omega dlc
for me the last conversation between Sam and femshep in the romance is my favorite

agree with Dragon_Claw Sam needs(more) her  fans

The 'picket fence' scene is arguably my favourite scene from the franchise. When you get scenes of that quality, you inevitably just want more. I want more!

I was initially disappointed that you didn't get a goodbye with her down on Earth like you did for the other squad members, but to be honest, that final scene couldn't have been bettered anyway.

actually it could have been, With Shepard down on earth telling Sam "While I am down here I look for a spot to build our house." and Sam telling her to keep her eyes on the reapers, and that the house comes later.

I think a lot of kudos has to go to the writer(s) and Alix. 

Essentially, it was two/three scenes, and a few conversations at Traynor's station, but the combination of sharp character writing and Alix's performance, brillilant. 

No disrespect to Cara Pifko, but compare and contrast Kelly in ME2 and Samantha in ME3 - Traynor was better written and portrayed IMO.

I think, my only regret, as someone mentioned elsewhere - the lack of recognition amongst the rest of the crew (except Javik) - perhaps a scene of Samantha being consoled by Garrus or Liara in the final scenes would have been nice, or a shot of Sam, back on Earth, with the house, the picket fence, and the retriever - although I will admit, that might have produced a few tears of my own.

^^if you didn't know Patrick Weekes did Sams character and as you say AWR did a brillant job voicing Samantha--hopefully we hear her in upcoming dlc's

as far as lack of recognition it doesn't bother me too much
Javik, as you mentioned as well as draken-heart,says 'you are one with the human female'

I believe Joker recognizes the relationship--after the Citadel coup before getting back on the ship you see him in purgatory you have the option to ask about him not being in your quarters
if you don't talk to him and have the shower scene with Sam you later get an email from Joker meeting him at the bar and that option about joining you in your quarters is gone

the only other one is Liara and thats only if she is your LI from me1&2 and go have the shower with Sam, Liara gets cranky about you cheating
the funny thing is I had Kaidan for LI from me1&2(won't do that again) I had shower with Sam then later when I met him on the presidium he never brought it up and wasn't even upset(found that odd)

the only time Sam is getting any comfort is a hug from robot girl at the memorial wall if you pick(shudders)

Unless Liara was romanced in 1&2, Javik is the only one that recognizes the romance.

I do not think so, It is odd that Javik is the only one I know of that says anything about the romances.

maybe everyone recognizes the relationship, but bioware prevents the characters from saying anything

It's strange that they don't say anything in ME3. They've always mentioned Shep's LI in the previous two.

It's odd that Garrus at the very least doesn't mention it. In buddy terms, Shepard and Garrus are jsut about as close as it gets.

Then again, I suppose he doesn't mention the Tali thing to Shepard either.......

Must admit I usually do multiple play throughs to get all the different romances/endings. Even went back to ME2 to try and get a few to carry through into ME3. However, I almost immediately got p1ssed off with Chambers, and realized I was about to go through another 40+ hours only to eventually choose Sam again anyway!

Did auto-dialogue affect the lack of recognition? Don't think so. They could easily have incorporated something. It's just one variable in a dialogue string. Plus, they had Javik do it, so there's no real reason that others couldn't have done so also IMO.

Just hope we get more lines for Sam in the DLC.

To be honest, I probably wouldn't have had much of a problem with the end to ME3 had it not been for Sam. As soon as BW started talking about ME3 being "the end of Shepard's story", and that it would be bittersweet I pretty much figured that Shepard would die. Ordinarily, the 'destroy' ending would probably have worked for me. Shepard dies a hero's death. The difference now is that of all the romances I've played throughout 1-3, Sam is the one that I can see Shepard wanting to live for. As we've heard from Shepard many times, "There's always ANOTHER way". I'd have liked at least one option where Shepard lives. Why couldn't they make the endings to make everyone happy, rather than impose the 'no win' scenario on us. FFS. After nearly 5 years of playing these games they really should have given people the opportunity to craft whatever ending they wanted for themselves.

The only way BW can dig themselves out of this hole now is to bring Shepard back in ME4 and redo "the end of Shepard's story". IMO.

I too like to see me4 with femshep returning not only to see her and Sam reunited but to give the proper closure to femshep that she so rightfully deserves
