Enjoyed it.  I appreciate how Sam stood her ground with a pissed-off Shep, despite being a gentle/soft-spoken character.

There is no justice in this universe. First to romance Sam you have to miss the chess convo...and then to have a scene that adds to the romance you have to kill Garrus? What the frak?

Totally agree w/this.  Don't have a dead Garrus in any of my playthroughs, so I won't ever get to see this. Thanks to the folks who've posted links for sharing.  

And just want to say I love Traynor.  Wish she'd gotten the same amount of development as Cortez, but she's a great character, and the VA does a terrific job with her.

I like Samantha- If she was a straight LI, she'd be in the top 3 for me. As it stands, she makes a great she-bro, though I loath the term.

I think Traynor has the best pillow talk (dialogue after the love scene+last kid dream) of any LI.

I think she's the perfect balance of everything. Competent, professional, but not impersonal. Cute, funny, but not dumb. None of her traits are the whole person, she feels real to me because of that. No label suits her.

It's true that she has way less dialogue than other romances in the series (it did feel a bit abrupt to me as I'm used to my modded ME1 Ashmance, with its abundant 10 minute long conversations) and the option shower/chess made me "aw come on!" at the screen (not to mention Shepard is really mean if she chooses renegade there... neutral option where are you???) but she was probably my favorite new character nonetheless so I'm happy

This is so true.  She's definitely the perfect woman.  It's too bad she's pixels.  *le sad*

Also, I tweeted Patrick Weekes asking if he wrote Sam, so here's hoping he replies.  *fingers crossed* and the reply is below.

I agree with all the above.  That's why I love Traynor.  She's easily my favourite character from ME3.

You could ask him why romance with Sam is so much worse developed than any other (among the others whole 3 minutes 30 of personal conversations before sex scene and  Sam's romance option is the only one that has no time on Citadel).

i think she was not intended as a romance until late in development, miso.

I won't ask him that because it's entirely possible that he DID write it all up, but it was cut. 

He's responsible for some of my favorite characters outside of Samantha (Mordin and Jack, to name two) as well as the best parts of ME3 (Tuchanka and Rannoch).  I'd like to cut him a little slack, especially since he's one of the only writers to address some of the issues raised by the Retake ME3 movement.

I just recently finished me3 for the 20th time and found ST very down to earth girl with no excess baggage like some other characters. Every playthrough I have romanced ST ecept once when I played manshep. Its unfortunate that ST doesn't have as much dialog or even a scene on the citadel, but she is the only one that has 2 love scenes with femshep. Anyways I just finished another playthrough without having garrus or tali in the playthrough so I thought I would add some dialog of my own.
When traynor first meets femshep in her cabin.
shep is looking at st butt while learning the upgrades for ship
st: is there something wrong commander?
shep: ah, no I thought I saw something on the floor continue traynor
st: yes ma'am (smiling to herself)

later in the warroom st looking at sheps butt
shep:traynor, are you checking out my butt?
st:(blushing) yes ma'am, I mean no ma"am
shep: do you like what you see?
st: very much so ma'am
shep: (smiling) thank you , but right now I need some rest
st: (licking her lips) yes ma"am

after shower scene
shep: thank you traynor for making me feel alive
st: (blushing) it was my pleasure ma"am
shep: call me lisa sam and I wouldn't mind if you were to move into my cabin with me
st: thanks lisa that means alot
shep:since that is settled. How about you use me again?
traynor takes shep in her arms

meeting on citadel
shep: hey sam here the toothbrush that you spoke of
st: thank you
shep: just wanted my girl to have the prettiest smile in the galaxy
st:well you know how to make smile
shep:sam, you said you play for keeps and I have been thinking about that
st are going to propose
shep: no, not today anyways. When we first met I impressed on how well you presented yourself, your looks,your talents of knowing your duties, I found myself attracted to you like no one else. You are one of the few where I can let my guard down and not worry about being 2nd guessed or stabbed in the back for the actions I've done.
st: what are saying?
shep:earlier I talked with Dr. Chakwas about us and the possibility of having children. she said that it wasn"t a problem with science  to do that but there is a high chance that it would result only in female chidren. so she took dna from me for future use. I hope that didn't freak you out
st (looking stunned) well when it comes to playing for keeps you take it to next lvel
shep:only with you sam. you make me feel  like  a woman and not just a soldier
st:can we meet back in your cabin for drink and talk some more
shep yes we can and its our cabin sam
as sam leaves there tears of joy running down her cheeks

after thessia
shep calls sam up to cabin
st:yes commander?
shep: I just need ahug and your shoulder

before cerberus base
shep: so am princess now?
st: yes you like it
shep:(smiling) yeah I do
st:now go kick some cerberus butt

just before earth
shep:I love you samatha traynor 
 st: (with tears) ilove you too
shep :when this is done I want us to be wearing matching wedding gowns at our new house
st lisa you come back to me..... I don't look good in black
shep walks away crying knowing she may never see her love again


on citadel with anderson
shep: I met this great girl and were getting married
ander:well, I never thought  you would settle down
shep: and I would be honored if you would walk me down the isle
anderson: thank you shepard that means alot
screen fades to black

I hope this wasn't to sappy since its the first time I 've ever posted anything. I just felt that traynor deserved more time

And I thought that the shower-scene was pretty cute, it suited my tomboy FemShep. She needed someone lighthearted after being dumped by Jacob in such a rude fashion. It wasn't planned, they just clicked.


Love the idea of her sticking markers on the sideboard of the CIC when she has "Analyzed the crap out of some data". Adorables =)

Weekes did such a great job writing her dialogue and AWR delivered all the lines just perfectly.

I really should post a pic of my Femshep. I wish they'd picked a different default one, because having long hair while you're in the middle of a war is just not a good idea. I speak from experience. lol
