So I think she could manage a fling with Allers especially considering their odds of survival. As for Traynor and Shepard, well no one can resist Shepard's charms so obviously Traynor wants to play for keeps there.

femshep treated sam with respect helping her feel at "home" on the ship where as any other military officer would of thrown her to the dogs. Sam felt relaxed around femshep and how kind hearted she is which gave her the oppurtunity to warm up to femshep with the mentioning of liking board games and then the email for game night

True, there are plenty of people who are flirty without really intending for it to go anywhere. But there are also plenty of people who are happy to have flings until they meet someone they want to get serious with. I don't think we have enough data to say which Traynor is so obviously different people are going to have differing opinions on this. Personally I like thinking of Traynor as a bit of a player who seduces Commander Shepard but then ends up falling for her.
