EDI  mostly, I have not though too much about anyone else...


Samantha is the type of character you Ship with almost anyone because she is type the just weasel her way in and BAM... next thing you know clothes are gone and  their... "woo. :O"  

And Sam is like "Yep B)"

I wouldn't say with just anyone.  That sound more like something Kelly would do.  I still maintain that Traynor's shy/awkward personality makes her a little more than that.   (I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that the shower scene - given how early it occurred in the game - was out-of-character for Traynor)

Gianna Parasini. I don't know why, but I just think they'd really click. 
EDIT:  Mostly because Gianna really has a strong personality and is highly intelligent.  I think she might actually give Sam a run for her money in chess.
Could maybe see her w/ Gabby if Gabby and Ken aren't together, but I really prefer Gabby and Ken together. 
I can't rule out Liara, but I think Liara is just a bit too cool/calm/the-right-word-isn't-really-coming-to-me-now for Sam.

Yeah, I don't really see Sam hopping in the sack w/ everyone.  Definitely not with guys and probably not a lot of women because she seems way too shy for that.
As for the shower scene, it wasn't totally OOC from my POV because she didn't initiate the physical part of it, but left the door open, so to speak.  I do think it was too early, however.  But, given that she's only got so much time to work with in the one game, I can see why they did it that way.

hmmm, not with james..hes not the romantic guy. mor the tough guy from the outside.

I'd considered EDI, but it'd feel odd if she was with anyone other than Joker. The only other one she really talks to is Diana, and I have my doubts...

I was more saying that I could write her with just about anyone because she that type of personality that is just endearing and she patient.( from playin chess) 

Kelly a blabber mouth and clingy.  

Samantha is more tactian,  she very  slyly  I might add  reeled Shepard in from start to finish...  I had to sit for minutes with my mouth hanging after the Chess  comment.  

Did she...just..About Chess..how...  its CHESS.  Why? This is happening

Honestly? Probably EDI (she deserves better than Diana). Ship Sam/EDI and FShep could then have Joker.

Hmm it's hard to say, defo not EDI, that's a bizarre one, even throughout ME3 I couldn't take her "romance" with Joker seriously, it just seemed like a little jokey nod towards the fans that they ran with. Why would you want to romance a fembot anyway:P I would think most would prefer to curl up to a nice warm body, asari and human women need only apply:D  Female Quarians come with a health risk:whistle:

I couldn't see her romancing any of the Normandy squadmates, Sam and Liara are very alike in someways, I really grew fond of Sam quickly because she remainded me alot of Liara, both smart girls, adorably awkward and nerdy at times, both beautiful and just caring gentle souls at heart. I can't see her falling for anyone else other than Shepard and lets be honest who wouldn't, Shepard is so remarkable and charismatic, it would be hard not too.

The other day I would have probably answered Liara, but the problem with that is my main Shepard is a Liaramancer. (I'm really frustrated because I have yet to play a Samancer game!)

Then someone linked this picture (with accompanying story fragment) and I was suddenly sold on the Sam/EDI ship.

Also, I wonder how she'd get along with Miranda?

I think they'd get along really well after awhile. They seem to be a bit alike- both extremely intelligent and have those scientific backgrounds (Sam with R&D, Miranda with the Lazarus Project). Might take them awhile to trust one another though, as Samantha is tied to the Alliance and Miranda is ex-Cerberus and doesn't exactly view the Alliance very highly (plus the whole Cerberus being viewed as "a terrorist organization" thing).

One thing that attracted me to Sam in the first place is that she kind of seems like a S/S version of Miranda, except for working for different organizations and Sam working in R&D as opposed to covert ops.

As for chess, it's really not that hard to learn to play.  It's harder to learn to play WELL because you've got to think several moves ahead.
I'm decent at chess, but Sam would totally kick my ass.  Not as bad as she did Shepard, but yeah...  Although, it sounds like Shepard is HORRIBLE at chess, so being less terrible than that isn't really much of an accomplishment. 

Haha, yeah. The "playing well" part is what trips me up, usually. I played against my computer on the easiest setting and it roflstomped all over me every time.

I'll echo what other have said and go with EDI. They'd be so cute together. EDI is way too good for Joker, anyway.

I could see Samantha with Tali too, for some reason. Maybe because they both have an adorkable thing going on, or maybe because I'm a bad person who thinks that the unfathomable wrath unleashed on this forum if Tali left Shepard for a woman would be delicious.

Agree... very much so, in matter of fact... I was trying to remember the name of the actress myself because that is the first thing I said when I say her.

i just finished my Samantha Romance play-through with the destroy ending (and EC) i admit, i was heartbroken about EDI and the Geth, but am glad to finally be able to say "YES, SHEPARD AND SAMANTHA CAN FINALLY BE TOGETHER IN THE END" "Y'know, depending on how long it takes things to get back up and running.

@ValoreFane: i can see a small resemblence between Traynor and Parminder Nagra.

If it makes you feel any better, Glowing Boy heavily implies that the geth can be rebuilt. So even if all the now-living geth individuals are killed forever, the geth as a people can still be restored and given a future.

*Sam's P.O.V.*

It took us about a good three weeks to get back to the Sol system. when we got back it appeared that they were already undergoing reconstruction. Joker radioed to ask what is going on

"listen i need to know, is everything alright" Joker asked

"the entire galaxy is undergoing reconstruction." Prime Minister Hackett said.

"Joker..." i told

"Oh, right, Samantha would kill me if i did not ask, is Shepard alright?" Joker asked

"She is fine, currently on the Citadel coordinating the reconstruction effort" Hackett said

"If you do not mind saying, is she an ambassador?"

"officially, she has since been discharged from the alliance and removed of her SPECTRE status due to injuries suffered when the implants used to rebuild her exploded, doctors were afraid that if she kept up her military service, her injuries would kill her." the prime minister said

after the conversation, we docked with the Citadel and i got off to look for Kayelynn Shepard. i found her in the Embassy, obviously. It appeared she was arguing with Councilor Tevos, the Asari representative.

"Shepard, your people need an example of honor and justice" Tevos said

"Tevos, i know you mean well, but my position as ambassador is only until the reconstruction efforts are good to go without me" Shepard said "also i am no politician"

"you do not need to be a politician to be a member of the Council." the asari said.

"what is going on?" i asked

"SAMANTHA!!!!!!" Shepard screamed running to me

*Shepard and Samantha share a loving embrace*

"I'll give you two some alone time, perhaps you can talk some sense into her, Ms. Traynor." Tevos said as she left.

"what was that about?" i asked

"Tevos wants me to take the human seat on the council" Shepard

"i think you should go for it, Kate." i said

"why, i am no politician"

"look at what you achieved during the war against the Reapers." i said " you brokered a peace treaty between the Turians and the Krogan, as well as the Geth and the Quarians, until you 'killed' the geth."

"so?" Shepard asked

"if that does not scream 'qualification for Councilor' i do not know what would."

"thanks i may just accept the offer" Shepard said "i love you Samantha"

"i love you too Kate" i said leaning into her waiting lips.

Even though I am so much happier with the flashback of Sam and her moment at the memorial wall, I would have loved one more goodbye, especially after watching the EC romance goodbyes on youtube and finding them all really fantastic.
