Sam's awesome. Made a new Vanguard and am playing through ME2 now with intentions of romancing Garrus to see what that storyline's all about. I already miss Sam and I haven't even met her.

funny you mention that I just started a new playthrough of me2 an hour ago just to acquire the reaper model that others mentioned(that I asked about)  and as I look at Kelly all I can think of is Sam

Hi, everyone. I'm new to the thread, and I have a question about Sam that I would appreciate finding answers to.

Does anyone recall if Samantha ever mentions her family in-game? I'm writing a story about her, and I'd like to get more info on this before I go and take artistic license with that particular part with her life.

she mentions them living in London and that they wanted the freedom of living on a colony
later on she mentions that her parents and herself were on horizon when the collectors attacked(sam was on vacation I believe)
horizon is where sam was born and grew up with her parents

as far as we know she is there is no hint of any siblings

RE: siblings: never stated, but I'd assumed 2-3 brothers and sisters with her in the middle. No major reason.

EDIT:  I would like to add, that up until now, I also felt her to be an only child simply because there was no mention of siblings.  When I think back on it in hindsight, I can see some points where she acted like someone who does have siblings. 

I'm now making up some head canon that she played chess with her siblings a lot growing up and beat them all mercilessly.

Well, if it was never stated that she's not an only child, I think I'll take some liberties with this part.

I was thinking maybe something along the lines of a younger brother for Sam. Someone she adores but isn't afraid to admit he's a bit of an idiot. No particular reason why. Thought it was cute

Now i am imagining Samantha Getting E-mails from her siblings about her and Shepard if they are in a romance. That odly enough gets me thinking that Sam takes pictures of them together or told them about her and Shepard.
