This is so epic.

Already downloaded it in case BW seizes the video.

I mean it was a public display of the game and it's coming out soon so I'm hoping they don't. The game looks beautiful though :)

Have they got rid of the original weapon bench?
There used to be a nice graphical interface, but the screenshot someone posted here hints it was replaced.

I do believe the weapon bench is on the Normandy (well there may be others littered about too), whereas the screenshot comes from when Shep picks up a weapon mid mission so would be slightly different.

Is it me, or have this been shown before (outside of the commentary)?

Interesting I just noticed jet boots on Cerberus Troops. I wonder if we would ever get something of like. But then again if did get Jet Packs or Jet Boots it would have to be quite a spacious level .

Reputation seems like a brilliant change to the P/R system.

My only issue in that vid is how bad the A.I. was.

So canon Shep is Gorilla Shep? That's amusingly appropriate.

I think they showed this at other events as well, but this is the updated version of it. This is as of Jan 31st because that's when the event took place. They said it's pretty much done, they just are fixing little kinks and all.

Ah thanks! Just wanted to make sure I was watching the right thing. ;)

We've known about most of these things for a while. Honestly, the only new thing from this this video is the GUI.

I don't count that as new since they already announced that somewhere else. We're just seeing the GUI for it.

I know about that, just want to have it all on one video. I added the reputation system to the list.

Whether Mordin's parts have been re-recorded or re-edited... it's certainly a pretty dramatic improvement on the earlier beta leak of this demo...imo.

It sounds almost damn-near spot-on to me whereas before it was a pretty pale-immitation and it really stood out to the point of being really immersion-breaking. Michael Beattie-be-damned... pretty happy now.

So much has been improved since I played it at Eurogamer. Loving the new and improved interface, and the gameplay seems better than ever. Stupidly excited for this.

The health system seems the one from Transformers War for Cybertron. Partial segments of the bar heal on their own, but for the already empty ones you need medigel. I wonder if a dose heals all the bar or just a segment, but I guess the latter would increase difficulty a lot.

Nah it costs like $5. You just have to know about it I guess. The next event is the end of February not sure what games they are showing off then. It's for the IGDA...
http://www.igda.org/montreal that's the website if you're wanting to go to future events. They have a membership that you can get that gets you into the events without having to pay the $5 at the door. They often show lots of indie games I guess. Definitely a fun event. I would recommend checking it out sometime. There were about 400 people at the event.

Transformers? I'm pretty sure Resistance did that first (2006) and i'm also sure somebody else will point out to me who Insomniac ripped off before them. Either way I think it much more likely that they took inspiration from R:FOM rather than some hasbro-tie-in.

Didn't they use a similar health system in ME2? They just modified it a bit.

And of course, somebody will attempt an adept insanity run with no guns with just liara and kaidan....

my adept Shepard is salivating at the thought of that haha.

Small details like these sometimes impressive me more than big explosions.

Hey I like my explosions :P. Nah but I know what you're saying. ME has a great attention to small details one reason why it sets the bar higher and higher for the new games coming out :)

When the beta leaked, someone was streaming his playthrough and he said in the chat that it depends on upgrades or power evolutions, don't exactly remember. But he did say healing gets more effective if you upgrade/evolve powers so

No, health was always regenerating 100%  after few seconds in cover

Well yeah... it's a natural extension of the idea incorporating elements of the Resistance system. Deus Ex: Human Revolution also borrowed this as well.

ME2 was full bar healing after a few seconds. Now healing is only partial, so things will be more difficult unless enemy damage is significantly reduced.

Haven´t played Resistance, I mentioned WfC because it´s the only game with that heakth system I´ve played.

Guys, Mordin is deffinatly different from the leaked Demo. Anyone contact Micheal Beatie lately? He could of been hired and BIOWARE could just be trolling us.
