all i can say is fans of certain charachters will be mad and probably p/o'ed

I'm used to bad endings, sad endings, and people dying. Survival over odds and losing a lot of people isn't going to phase me as badly. Like Dead Space.

I don't want a Paradurp miracle ending, if I get a bad ending.  I want to work at it, not have my hand held.  That's the reason why I liked Fable 3 among its cascade of problems.  It gave you your desired path and ending based on what and how you worked on it. 

Also making a Shotgun that spits Fire rounds is awesome, especially with a bone stock.

ok seriously though, it's true. People will always get angry at the conclusion of a series. Especially ones with such a large fanbase

It's pretty much fact that when it comes to a fanbase as large as Mass Effect, everyone can't be satisfied. There's going to be some rage at the endings, that is inevitable. But as long as the Reapers are beaten and my galaxy is safe with as many as I tried to save as possible, I'll be content.

The leak doesn't give much on details. But the bare bones pretty much equate to this ^

Some people will complain about it no matter what they do and it is not hard to guess who will do the complaining.

Considering that I found around 4-6 endings in the leaked scripts, many will be happy, many will be mad.

But remember this:  Bioware promised an ENDING to Shepard's story.  No one ever promised a happy one.  Or a good one.

This is War.  And worse, a War that losing meant death.

Eh, fans crying tears of unfathomable sadness and accusing Bioware of selling out has been a forum staple since BG 1. I suspect with the series wrapping up it'll be even more hilarious than usual.

Of course, it is considered to be a joke of a community.  I consider it worse than the Fallout/BI community.

Have those leaks been verified to be legitimate ? can you continue playing after them ?  or does the game just end like in Mass Effect 1 ?

While there are certain things that are better off shrouded in mystery like H.P. Lovecraft novels I fell, I do like that it will be a 'final' ending unlike DA2's 'To be continued'. I'm looking forward to seeing how the endings are executed.

As long as you can trace the ending back to where it all began and it makes sense - even if it makes you angry - its all good.

If you sit there with a "What the hell, that doesn't make sense, there is no logic here" and it makes you angry - then its bad.

As long as they make sense and you can see why they happen the way they did - excellent.

A well written article. Aside from the end there were they say ME3 will launch on Mar. 9th of course. (lol)

Anyway, this makes sense, seeing as how any story conclusion with this much variety will inevitably leave some disappointed, it's generally okay when the majority still favor it. Let's hope that's the case with ME3.

I think its fine to have a bittersweet or morally grey ending;  but.....

I think a RPG always needs to give you some possible ending that lets you have your cake and eat it too. 

Now if you want to get that really good ending then you should have to put a lot of effort into it; but I hate it when the only possible endings all screw you over one way or another and there's just no way to get around it.

I think ideally that the first time you play through you can't get the have your cake and eat it too ending and you'll have to make some sort of sacrafice.  

But;   If you load up a NG+ career it would be really cool if some new options became available that let you get the best possible ending.

It would be really cheap if the game just decided,  alright this character is doomed and there's nothing the player can do about it.

The only exception to that rule being Thane.   You knew he was dying in ME2 so you knew what you were getting into from the start.

This is the BSN. Bioware could offer us all Ferrari's and people would be pissed because it's red instead of (insert color here).
