I can tell you from the leaked script that the devs realize this, at least with the crappy endurance (from some in-jokes). If they do vehicular sections like that again they'll most certainly address these issues.

But yes, the Hammerhead's canon was boring and repetitive to use. I hope they fix that. I really want two modes of fire like the Mako again.

Hmm... the solid-fuel rockets are a concern on the Hammerhead.

And the Mako wasn't bad, there was simply a learning curve to it, and I can't think of any vehicle that can drive up a practically vertical slope, atm.

The confrontation on Virmire was the climax of Wrex's character-arc where he demonstrated reason over brute force.

Earlier in the game he talked about how the genophage wasn't what was killing his people, but he himself hadn't learned to not be part of the problem.

On Virmire, if talked down, he finally understood and demonstrated that he could lead by example.

Wrex at that time understood that a simple Genophage cure wouldn't solve it due to Saren controlling it. He knew the cure itself wouldn't solve it but a good leader behind it would. I'm not disagreeing with you. Wrex does know a cure isn't the only answer but to him it is important enough to go after.

The point of that mission on Sur Kesh was to not only get the fertile female but also to secure a sort of Alliance. He had multiple reasons to do it a possible cure is likely one of them. I don't doubt Wrex would have wanted a cure but wouldn't necessarily use it immediately.

The rachni will become hostile again (be it by reaper indoctrination or otherwise). The krogan will fight off the rachni again. The krogan will win again. The salarians will make a new genophage again. The turians will stop the violent krogan again. The salarians will inflict a new genophage on the krogan again. Aaaaaaannnnnnddddddddd we're back at the same point as where we are now....

I always believed one of the lessons learned from the Salarian meddling is that the Krogan deserve the chance (as do all species) to learn from their mistakes without extreme manipulation (like the genophage). That's certainly a point my Shepard (and Mordin's student) make to Mordin throughout ME2.

Reading the earlier pages on this thead (i'm looking at you 4 and 5) has made me relaise how much we desperately all need a masive group hug at the end of Mass Effect 3. We should really stop fighting between ourselves, looking at us you'd think half of us on these forums weren't fans of the game at all and just came here to hate. So please everyone be nice to eachother and respect everyone's opinions we are all fans of the same game.

Glad this has got back on topic now anyway, when we're not at eachothers throats we actually come up with iinteresting stuff! I enjoyed reading the Wrex/Wreav debate mwuaha, I think Wrex is far superior personally, he has his finger on the pule of what the Krogan need. I think Wreav is too stubborn/stuck in his ways. Veeeery different persoanlities, hopefuly this will mean very different outcomes!

Yes, specially the opening is a canary of bad things. I do agree that ME2 opening is much superior, if the ME3's opening is similar to the leaked demo a few months ago.

Of all the previews articles (all positives) people just picked this one that isn't impressed with the opening and made a generalization with it.

It follows the leaked script fairly closely, and it's just... bland. Artificial. It doesn't make me care.

If the rest of the game is as close to the leaked script as this part, then I don't find ME3 worth bothering with.

You should stop whining. Reading a summary of a video-game's plot  always makes the game look so much more boring than it really is.

Try to describe ONE game's plot in ONE comment without making it sound completely bland. You can't.


Just wait for the damn game to come out and judge ME3's plot after you've played it.

It was either that, or commit complete genocide on the krogan. Leaving the krogan birthrate unchecked, was, at that point, not an option. It would have led to a complete disaster. The salarians did the right thing.

Before we can cure the genophage, we need to be sure that it won't turn into a complete disaster.

Oh I am curing that genophage and if it was a mistake so what?  At least there will be fish on the presidium.
