 So, I was trying to add custom music to my module.
Something terribly wrong happened, and ALL the music disappeared from the toolset, no matter what module.
This is what I did:
Chose a song and converted it to .bmu with the correct bit rate and everything
Copied the song file and put it in my nwn music folder
Added the song info to the line in the ambientmusic.2da folder
Put the updated folder in my override folder

After that I went to my module to see if the new song was there...
And yeah, everything was gone.
I checked the files to see what had happened, and I saw that for some reason the files hadn't changed at all like I wanted them to. None of the new files were added to the music file or anything. The only changed thing was in the override file, which was the folder I pasted into there. 
So I deleted that and went back to my module...
Still nothing.

From there I am stuck. Could someone please, please help me? I don't care about getting the custom music in the module right now... I would just like the original music to return. If I am not being clear on anything or you don't understand the problem, please tell me! I will do anything to get the music back!

You don't want to put a "music" folder into your override folder.  Take a look HERE.  It's one of the handy tutorials you can find HERE.

Emphasis mine......if you put your \\nwn\\music FOLDER into \\nwn\\override then thats your problem.  The only thing needed in your override is the .2da file.  Also, make sure you extracted the .2da from the 1.69 patch via NWNexplorer or such program.

Okay, so how do I get my music back? Will reinstalling the whole thing get it back? Or is there an easier way?

If you torched your nwn\\override and the music folder had indeed been moved there, then yes, a reinstall is the only way to recover and is probably the easiest.

Okay, thanks.. will it delete anything important or noticeable?

You can perform a reinstall without doing an uninstall first .... the NWN installer has some brains and won't touch any files you have existing (ie. haks). HOWEVER, it does wipe the override directory (I think it renames the existing one but its been a while since I did this).
